morning. ynotif, a little convoluted but a possibilty that you are right. it just makes you wonder why seo don't make things less ambiguous in the announcements. maybe then howard wouldn't have to come out with crap like, "the market doesn't understand" .
alan, the dissolvable packaging is from aquasol and i believe is still there in the background.

Agree andysmith re short term price movement without significant RNS (that don't expect). As he agrees ii it could be said that I agree ii!!! Important to see whether sp tests the 12p level again and if so whether it breaks that level. There could be signs that we are establishing a stable period - or relatively - with trading between 12p and 17p as bulls and bears slug it out. Dangerous time, methinks, for CFDs; at least until a definitite new trend is esablished..

"Major steps are also being made in both Europe and North America towards the commercialisation of a number of projects, particularly those involving Biotec's materials and Stanelco intends to update the market with these developments shortly."

Enough said

bhunt1910 - 21 Oct 2005 13:28 - 12063 of 27111

That was very cryptic Biscuit - Are you anticipating an announcement - or just reminding us what was said previously - or both ????

Eric/Andy - not what I wanted to hear - but respect your views. I sold out my previous cfd's at 16 - but wanted to be back in before Mondays announcement. Just felt that we had temporarily bottomed. I now get the feeling I may have called this one wrong - but will wait and watch.

Please dont say I told you so on Monday if it drops further - i will just quietly sell my cfd and reap my losses. Not touching my real shares - they are there to stay.

Bhunt, What margin are you getting on SEO's CFDs?

Interested have thought of using them on this share.

bhunt1910 - 21 Oct 2005 14:02 - 12065 of 27111

Fred - I use Barclays and generally tend to pay the price on the screen plus 17.50 per trade plus an overnight finance fee of Libor plus(cant remember what - but it is competitive).

Did I answer the question ?

A little bit more interest being shown - now 2:1 @ 14.75 : 15.25 and 100k v 10k

pisces - 21 Oct 2005 14:16 - 12067 of 27111

Anyone can see the shares are in a massive downtrend.Every time there`s a bounce in the price it is followed by a gradual decline, we can see that from the charts. The next fall will more than likely hit 10p with a bounce back up to 14p and as many have mentioned without firm orders i think this trend will continue down to 8p which is a more realistic market cap.I am still in for the long term though.

Biscuit - 21 Oct 2005 14:32 - 12068 of 27111

Bhunt,

Just stating facts as per the RNS of 3rd October, I take it that when a company says there are major steps being made and they're due to update the market on them shortly that they will update the market shortly about the major steps being made. No confusion or abiguity there.

Cheers,

Biscuit

Fred1new - 21 Oct 2005 16:14 - 12072 of 27111

BH Thank you. Might be tempted .

EWRobson - 21 Oct 2005 16:17 - 12073 of 27111

pisces: I have also made thepoint that the downtrend has not yet been broken although the recent recovery was quite significant in volume terms. An effort seems to be in process to change the trend line at least returning to the horizontal. Personally, I see 8p as very unlikely. 10p would be a cap of some 90M. ASDA on its own counts for 5p. Min addition of 2.5p for other sales of Greenseal and min of 2.5p for Starpol. T&G forecast is quite conservative and implies sp of 21p although, as andysmith has pointed out there are a number of assumptions. My point would be that a number of investment buys would be brought in at 12p and certainly at 10p based on very reasonable forecasts. Baza, I believe, called it right at 12p. I can't see any Starpol announcements having a significant effect on value unless linked to Greenseal and I believe we just need to be patient for those.

Biscuit,
I know you love that part of the RNS but...............
Enough said.

Biscuit - 21 Oct 2005 16:43 - 12076 of 27111

Sorry Alan,

But it does get tiresome listening to Traders speculating about there uptrends, downtrends and refering to no factual releases from the company what so ever. If you are a Trader" then you should be on the Traders Thread not the investors thread.

hewittalan6 - 21 Oct 2005 16:46 - 12077 of 27111

Twas only a joke, Biscuit!!
I agree, as it happens, and I am in for the long haul. I'm not a big fan of charting either, but you've got to hand it to the charters, they've called it right recently.
I just wish all the RNS material was as clear as the one you quote.

Biscuit - 21 Oct 2005 16:50 - 12078 of 27111

No probs Alan.

That's why I quote it, it's very clear and makes it very clear that there is no need for any idle speculation.
