chocolat,
I was glancing back just now, what day are we apologising for at the moment?

chocolat - 22 Aug 2004 01:18 - 12128 of 23498

I dunno - were we - and what day is it anyway? This is all opto's fault..
Going to slope off with my shoes dangling now.. G'night :)

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 01:25 - 12129 of 23498

Goodnight chocolat.

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 01:31 - 12130 of 23498

I've done all the cleaning up I can handle, washed and stacked the glasses, swept floor, mopped up the incapable, cleaned ashtrays, repaired light on stairs to the cellar, replaced all the tatty coasters, maintenance cycle completed on lager and guinness pumps, picked up empty bottles, recalibrated optics, removed crumbs from toaster, changed covers on Socs chair, and polished licencees plaque on door.
I'm off
Goodnight

SC

Socrates - 22 Aug 2004 09:56 - 12131 of 23498

Good morning all. Here I am all ready for my Sunday morning full English breakfast.

Stormcaller went a bit berserk last night. "Changed the covers on Soc's chair", it was antique leather and now it's chintz.

"Repaired light on stairs to the cellar", he stuck a candle on to the light switch.

"Washed and stacked the glasses", there's an 8ft stack of glasses in the middle of the entrance corridor.

"Removed the crumbs from the toaster", in the washing mashine?

"Polished licencees plaque on door", with black boot polish.

I haven't looked at the other items yet, except that I can't find any ash trays and the optics all have plimsoll marks on them!

Must take more water with it Stormy.

jj50 - 22 Aug 2004 09:59 - 12132 of 23498

Morni ...... puts on sunglasses ..... shine in here is too much, everything's sparkling....well done, Stormie.

Quick cuppa, that's all there's time for and back to painting.

Socrates - 22 Aug 2004 10:06 - 12133 of 23498

jj50
Painting? Watercolour, oils or emulsion?

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 10:14 - 12134 of 23498

Morning jj, this painting seems to be catching on with you ladies, I recall Bunny having a marathon paint not long ago. Is it quicker than dusting :)

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 10:14 - 12135 of 23498

Morning Socco

Socrates - 22 Aug 2004 10:25 - 12136 of 23498

Good morning opto.

I found the ashtrays, they're in the goldfish pond. The goldfish, incidentally, are swimming up and down the beer pipes.

stockbunny - 22 Aug 2004 11:33 - 12137 of 23498

Socco - good to see you are sorting out Stormy's domestic issues
in the tea-rooms, I worry about him..I really do..but he does know
a good rock tune when he hears one so he's still a cool dude - mind
you he's lacking a 1000CC bike & the leathers but that's life!!
(edit...bikers leathers people....bikers leathers!!!)

Morning Opto and JJ! JJ you are making me feel guilty, I need to get
back to painting again, but totally lack the will frankly (lol)

JeffMack - you will have to change your shade dear, bright red
lipstick just doesn't go with your highlights! ;>)

Busy day yesterday - chief navigator for number one son to find
the route to a wedding reception he's invited to next weekend, great
venue (not) right near the Wembley stadium construction site...very
de-ja-vue - when he was a tiny baby we used to live in Wembley and
I haven't been there since (like 18 yrs ago!)For general information:
If you don't need to go near the place until it's finished, don't bother!!!

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 12:27 - 12138 of 23498

Afternoon all,
stockbunny,
I don't have any domestic issues, or bike I am afraid, I long ago decided that the transport of ladies of quality was more serenely achieved in decent car (4000cc, climate-control, great sound system), and I hope I may one day have the honour...

opto,
I have found the problem with e-mail, and your message!, I have not had the service for long and it appears I have it set up wrong as it treats AM messages as junk-mail, I will attempt to fix, Guinness on bar for bringing it to my attention. Ta!

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 12:40 - 12139 of 23498

Socs,
I owe deep apology, together with opto's message I found the one you sent on 20th, please accept that I was unaware of it until now, and forgive lack of acknowledgement.

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 12:52 - 12140 of 23498

Stormy, just add am to approved senders, should sort it out. Would that be two Guiness? one for advice (I'm sure you knew the solution, but just in case)
Morning Bunny, my car has climate control, I wind the window down.

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 12:54 - 12141 of 23498

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 12:54 - 12142 of 23498

Pressed wrong button again!! stupid

Socrates - 22 Aug 2004 12:57 - 12143 of 23498

STORMCALLER
Honestly it is no problem.

Priscilla - 22 Aug 2004 12:58 - 12144 of 23498

Hmm....a chilled glass of kir, please....

Big Al - 22 Aug 2004 13:01 - 12145 of 23498

Afternoon.

No sooner had I popped in yesterday than I popped right back out and that was that.

Fantastic day here so have to get into the fresh air and "potter" is the phrase. At least, that's what I've been told................. ;-)

Quick coffee and off!

Later.

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 13:01 - 12146 of 23498

Never had kir Priscilla, what is it like?
