Morning Socco

Socrates - 22 Aug 2004 10:25 - 12136 of 23498

Good morning opto.

I found the ashtrays, they're in the goldfish pond. The goldfish, incidentally, are swimming up and down the beer pipes.

stockbunny - 22 Aug 2004 11:33 - 12137 of 23498

Socco - good to see you are sorting out Stormy's domestic issues
in the tea-rooms, I worry about him..I really do..but he does know
a good rock tune when he hears one so he's still a cool dude - mind
you he's lacking a 1000CC bike & the leathers but that's life!!
(edit...bikers leathers people....bikers leathers!!!)

Morning Opto and JJ! JJ you are making me feel guilty, I need to get
back to painting again, but totally lack the will frankly (lol)

JeffMack - you will have to change your shade dear, bright red
lipstick just doesn't go with your highlights! ;>)

Busy day yesterday - chief navigator for number one son to find
the route to a wedding reception he's invited to next weekend, great
venue (not) right near the Wembley stadium construction site...very
de-ja-vue - when he was a tiny baby we used to live in Wembley and
I haven't been there since (like 18 yrs ago!)For general information:
If you don't need to go near the place until it's finished, don't bother!!!

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 12:27 - 12138 of 23498

Afternoon all,
stockbunny,
I don't have any domestic issues, or bike I am afraid, I long ago decided that the transport of ladies of quality was more serenely achieved in decent car (4000cc, climate-control, great sound system), and I hope I may one day have the honour...

opto,
I have found the problem with e-mail, and your message!, I have not had the service for long and it appears I have it set up wrong as it treats AM messages as junk-mail, I will attempt to fix, Guinness on bar for bringing it to my attention. Ta!

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 12:40 - 12139 of 23498

Socs,
I owe deep apology, together with opto's message I found the one you sent on 20th, please accept that I was unaware of it until now, and forgive lack of acknowledgement.

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 12:52 - 12140 of 23498

Stormy, just add am to approved senders, should sort it out. Would that be two Guiness? one for advice (I'm sure you knew the solution, but just in case)
Morning Bunny, my car has climate control, I wind the window down.

Pressed wrong button again!! stupid

Socrates - 22 Aug 2004 12:57 - 12143 of 23498

STORMCALLER
Honestly it is no problem.

Priscilla - 22 Aug 2004 12:58 - 12144 of 23498

Hmm....a chilled glass of kir, please....

Big Al - 22 Aug 2004 13:01 - 12145 of 23498

Afternoon.

No sooner had I popped in yesterday than I popped right back out and that was that.

Fantastic day here so have to get into the fresh air and "potter" is the phrase. At least, that's what I've been told................. ;-)

Quick coffee and off!

Later.

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 13:01 - 12146 of 23498

Never had kir Priscilla, what is it like?

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 13:01 - 12147 of 23498

opto,
Wrong button? you had better have second Guinness then! as I was just trying to figure out how to enable AM messages the arrival of your post was most timely.
Edit:
I wouldn't mind but I didn't set up the bloody filter in the first place!

Priscilla - 22 Aug 2004 13:08 - 12148 of 23498

Ah! A kir virgin, eh, Opto? It should be the colour of a pale pink wine and made with a touch of cassis topped up with chilled sauvignon. It should not be sweet and certainly nothing like Ribena + wine! Made correctly, it is a delicious aperitif.

optomistic - 22 Aug 2004 13:11 - 12149 of 23498

Sounds like a professional touch is needed to produce a 'good' kir. I will try it when the opportunity arrises, thanks Priscilla.

STORMCALLER - 22 Aug 2004 13:15 - 12150 of 23498

opto,
Your e-mail suggestion has sorted problem, thank you.
Worn out after all that, better have a Guinness to give me the energy to get breakfast.

jeffmack - 22 Aug 2004 13:18 - 12151 of 23498

Afternoon folks

jeffmack - 22 Aug 2004 13:18 - 12152 of 23498

And folkettes

Priscilla - 22 Aug 2004 13:20 - 12153 of 23498

That's better, jeffers! Good afternoon to you too....! Can I fix you a drink?

jeffmack - 22 Aug 2004 13:27 - 12154 of 23498

Priscilla
I'll take a guiness please. I need it as I fear I might be in trouble soon.
