PS So you can enjoy the derbys again' in the Championship obviously :O) I'll give good odds that Brendon Rogers will last at least 6 months at Liverpool and Man U shares will be a screaming short before 3, haven't decided yet whether that is 3 weeks or 3 months :O)

That bunch of tippy-toe pass it sideways pass it backwards load of in-bred pikeys have sold the only player they had that ran foward to Man City (Sinclair).
This time next year Del Boy we'll be stuffing the likes of Everton if they stay up :-)

I see the return of oikball is upon us. Interesting comparison between the overpaid, overhyped, moaning cheating posers of premiership football and the true athletes of the Olympics. Oh, there is no comparison, the oiks would have a collective heart attack if they had to train like the Olympians and as far sportsmanship is concerned that disappeared a long time ago from the pitch and terraces.

Horses for courses eh chuckles, personally I'm quite happy only to see the Olympics every four years. Have to admit I could put up with the Ladies volleyball every week though. If It was every year I doubt we would see the same excellance (the other events I'm referring to of course not the volley ball) :O)

Chris, the point was more about the massive difference in sporting ethics, Premiership oikball has none, the Olympians' cup floweth over. I was watching the thuggery of water polo earlier, sort of legalised drowning, but no complaints to the ref and one of the teams were Italian! I also watched some of the Charity Shield and witnessed the usual diving, cheating, theatrics and continuous sniping at the ref. no, I wouldn't want to watch the Olympics every week, it's appearance only every four years is one of the things that makes it so special, but will oikball ever get its house in order before the bubble finally bursts? I do agree with your volleyball comment though :)

Chris , Everton are 250/1 to win the Premier League and for those who don't understand gambling that means if you put £50 on them you will lose £50.

Dil, even the most ardent Evertonian (including me) totally aware of that mate :O) As long as they finish above the team accross the park, have good cup runs and qualify for Europe is the best it's going to get. Unless of course someone richer than Man Citys current owners buy the club and give Moyes the funds to compete on a level playing field, maybe then the likes of Jack Rodwell wont be lured away. Sadly Cardiff City....... Who Are Dey?

Never happen Dil, against my religion :O) Must be something the supporters can do surely, isn't your clubs nickname 'The Bluebirds' ?

Yep the red blooobirds now :)
It was them or bust , 100 million invetment coming but we have to play in red. Some are of the attitude we can play in pink as long as we get promoted while a few are blue or we aint coming. Change of colour did Leeds no harm when they changed to white in the sixties but the real test will come if we don't get promoted.
Cardiff were 1/4 yesterday to sign Michael Owen but new favourites this morning were Everton at 2/9 ... lucky escape for us but can't see anywhere that he's actually signed for anyone yet. You can have him , more interested in horses these days.

Gees, don't want or need him Dil. Think Fergie is a bit upset we sold Rodwell to City, think Mancini only bought him to stop Fergie buying him :O)

Robin van Persie: Man Utd agree £24m deal with Arsenal for striker
Manchester United have agreed a £24m deal to sign Arsenal striker Robin van Persie on a four-year contract.
The 29-year-old will meet with United in the next 48 hours to discuss personal terms and have a medical.
Arsenal captain Van Persie announced in July he would not extend his current deal, which expires in June 2013.
