RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

Scot - apologies for misreading your post. A male bonding session around the camp-fire seems the only solution.

Douggie - 08 Jun 2004 13:36 - 1216 of 2406

Fund....oh :o{{ !!!

pachandl - 08 Jun 2004 15:52 - 1217 of 2406

I know its June but nothing seems to crank up the volume for this share. 3mill is not enough to drive a break-out - we need 8-10mill to achieve that. Most frustrating.

amardev - 08 Jun 2004 18:18 - 1218 of 2406

Greetings to all RTD holders..........and especially to Douggie..
Good to hear you sounding so upbeat.... after a few depressing weeks.
You gave us all the impression you were ready to throw in the towel.
Then again we've all kicked ourselves for not capturing the top of this share or some other.
I share everyones enthusiasm and would be very happy with a gradual consolidated climb.
The previous high and beyond is certainly achieveable.
Good luck to all.

Douggie - 08 Jun 2004 19:47 - 1219 of 2406

thanks amardev t'was somewhat missrable and lonely sittin here watching such a promising share slip away. a bit of pachandl's camp-fire bonding 'ud go down well so long as it's not the limp wrist variety of 'camp'... dunnow tho owt for a change and a laff...best wishes all ;~}}}

overgrowth - 08 Jun 2004 22:23 - 1220 of 2406

What with all this good news around and a trading update to look forward to in a few weeks, I'm tempted to buy a few more. Why I never think like this when the price is floundering I wish I knew.

I've always had rock solid faith in RTD to become a market leader - this is fast becoming a reality.

amberjane - 08 Jun 2004 23:13 - 1221 of 2406

Can I come to your 'male' bonding session, I'm very good at lighting fires..... I learnt it in the brownies...opps must have been girl guides, not allowed to use matches that early.

overgrowth - 08 Jun 2004 23:27 - 1222 of 2406

Looks as though the lads have turned in for the night anberjane - must be all that heavy bonding today....

Douggie - 09 Jun 2004 08:21 - 1223 of 2406

yup amberjane everyone welcome to join in improving personal relationships so far as I'm concerned, while we are at it can we get this share back in mid 20's

;o))

pachandl - 09 Jun 2004 08:21 - 1224 of 2406

Suddenly camp fires have lost their appeal - can't see why? Champagne breakfast at Claridges is perhaps the more likely option if RTD hits 32p. I am hoping for consolidation over the next few days, but preferably with 3mill+ daily volume. If so we might at last start nudging at the next (higher) trading range of 21/27p. Best of luck to all of you - dib, dib.

Douggie - 09 Jun 2004 08:29 - 1225 of 2406

While I was chating here price dropped 0.75p! nows your chance to get those extra shares overgrowth or is that 100.000 buy yours ???????

Fundamentalist - 09 Jun 2004 09:10 - 1226 of 2406

So we're back where we started before yesterdays contract!!! Despite low volumes and slightly more buys than sells theyve walked this back down!!! What does this share have to do these days.

Douggie - 09 Jun 2004 09:31 - 1227 of 2406

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

pachandl - 09 Jun 2004 14:13 - 1228 of 2406

Fundamentalist - as you say, volume is the key. Currently the MMs are doing rather well on a reasonably wide spread so why rock the boat by allowing the price to go up too quickly.

pachandl - 10 Jun 2004 09:54 - 1229 of 2406

Let's hope the 1mill+ sell today is the last of an overhang, rather than the beginning of a new one.

Douggie - 10 Jun 2004 10:10 - 1230 of 2406

ouch 2ml dumped 3 trades ?????somebody know something we dont

apple - 10 Jun 2004 11:14 - 1231 of 2406

Even so Douggie, the price is UP.

Douggie - 10 Jun 2004 12:19 - 1232 of 2406

Yup ! but can it stay so with sell running near 10/1 over buy ????

Susanem - 10 Jun 2004 12:57 - 1233 of 2406

you can't be certain that the 1m was a sell - it actually went through at 8.43 at the mid price quoted at that time ( it gets reported an hour later because it's six times the NMS)

in other words don't take the allocation of the trades as gospel

Douggie - 10 Jun 2004 16:47 - 1234 of 2406

True Susanem...But what does this Co. have to do to get share price up? catch Bin Laden with all his gang ? two good contracts won in last 5 working days price 17p to 18.25p back to 17. ;o[
