CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

There is a rumour in the city that the Amsterdam exchange is going
to be taking the TDI system on board. The info was posted on the
ADVFN board by MM Office cleaner who many feel is involved with
the Market Makers. He usually posts negative when there is a
shake out happening! We will have to wait and see if there is anything
in the rumour!
Many expect a further update from the company tommorow as there has been
a lot happening with the CBOT this week in London as you can all see from
post 1212. The roll out is going full steam ahead in Europe, and as the UK
is the centre of things, the profile of CMS in close ties with CBOT is high.

sounds good news, imho worth buying from a clinical chartist view too.

davepyle1 - 23 Jan 2004 08:51 - 1226 of 1924

up 1p this am......hope above rumour is true.

momentum - 23 Jan 2004 11:33 - 1227 of 1924

Offer being moved up, expect a move above 14.75 either today or Monday. If this level holds then expect a move up the 20p area. Rumour obviously stirring things up a little. With a break above 14.75p we will need some news to hold the break. imho

Doshmaker - 23 Jan 2004 16:31 - 1228 of 1924

Steady rise today, Market Maker dealings, looks to me as though something is definately developing in the background.

thestatusquo - 23 Jan 2004 17:24 - 1229 of 1924

Great day. You really do get the sense that confirmation of contracts and/or earnings estimates from brokers would enable us to value this stock more accurately.

I am a long term holder, but I do feel it is primed for a major move upwards.

Cor™ - 24 Jan 2004 12:33 - 1230 of 1924

Hi axe, i think u might be onto something there.... i'm sure i read somewhere the asmterdam exchange is updating dirivative trading platform in 6 months to the liffe connect system just like CBOT and CME did

sorry i cant back that up as i lost the link

axe79 - 24 Jan 2004 21:44 - 1231 of 1924

Rumours often drive the price forward, looking at the mark up to the
close, it does make me think that they might be some foundation behind
it!
I appreciate that you have not jumped on me with the unsubstantiated
post, as I do not ramp, but give a honest feedback.
With this being a "in house" company the market is privy to information
before the rest of us! So I will sweep my city contacts on this.
Expect breaking news soon, I would think within 14 days.

just a bit more +ve news on the rns about cwv....

TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) will begin
yen-denominated trading of Nikkei Stock Average futures on February 23, the
Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported, without citing sources.

It will be the first time that Nikkei average futures denominated in the
Japanese currency will be traded outside of Asia. Currently, only
dollar-denominated Nikkei Average futures are being traded at CME.

Nikkei Average futures will also be added to Globex, CME's electronic trading
platform, at the same time that yen-denominated trading is introduced there, the
report said.

Yen-denominated trading of Nikkei Average futures will be possible from 5:00
am-3:15 pm and from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm Central Standard Time. Dollar-denominated
trading will also be available on Globex from 2:00 am-3:15 pm and 3:30 pm-4:30
pm.

By trading in yen denominations, traders will be able to settle transactions in
both CME and the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

momentum - 26 Jan 2004 16:44 - 1233 of 1924

Very disappointing price movement today. Price has made a clear move to the downside with 13p providing some minor support. If 13p holds then expect to trade in a tight range. if not 12p then 10p. 14.75 is building into a major resistance, only news will drive us through it.

Doshmaker - 26 Jan 2004 16:59 - 1234 of 1924

I disagree to a certain extent, there appeared to be far more buys to sells today. My view is that the MM's are messing holders around in an attempt to regain as many shares as possible from nervy holders before possible news breaks which pushes the price well beyond the stubborn 14.75p mark. In many ways though I hope it does drop to 10p so I can buy a load more. ALL IN GOOD TIME WITH THIS ONE.

momentum - 26 Jan 2004 17:08 - 1235 of 1924

Because of the delay in announcing trades, 2 hours i beleive. many of the earlier trades are in infact sells. However i do agree that there is a large seller in the stock which i thought may have cleared friday. my mistake

ckmtang - 26 Jan 2004 17:11 - 1236 of 1924

is sue here?

momentum - 26 Jan 2004 18:24 - 1237 of 1924

afraid sues of rapping elsewhere.

thestatusquo - 26 Jan 2004 20:56 - 1238 of 1924

No need for rampers here chaps! I think we all know the story with this stock.

I agree with momentum, that in the absence of trading updates/contract announcements, that technical markers will be key. But I think any big ticket sales will push price well through 15pence level.

In the worst case scenario, we will have to wait for results later this quarter, which will show significantly increased turnover, providing scope for profits.

Perhaps a few impatient traders are jumping off, but I'm not even lookin at taking any profits until 20pence.

thanks Cor...great news!

AndrewThomson77 - 28 Jan 2004 18:18 - 1241 of 1924

CMS Webview's TDI brochure states that the TDI infrastructure contains a LIFFE Connect API.

All pretty promising but not much share movement recently.
