NETeller - NLR - 3.15
Thought i would start a new thread following on from
hawick - new issue looks very special - not to steal the thunder from
hawick but just to highlight the company name to those not already in to this
potential blockbuster.
Those of us who are following NETeller know the background and have been
active with postings, for newcomers i strongly sugest viewing the
( new issue looks very special posting )the content will speak for itself.
Brief overview of NETeller
The company handles online cash transactions across the globe
on 21st oct gained fsa approval to operate as a regulated e-money issuer
and will passport the regulated status to all 25 EU member states
it has over 1 million clients rising by 2000 number each day
1500 online merchants and processed over $1.5 billion in 2003
pre tax profit is estimated to be 29 million to dec 04 rising to
40 million next year
per currently 20 to dec 04 falling to 11.5 which is low for sector
brokers have been raising forcasts on a regular basis
share price has risen over 50% since launch earlier this year
new markets emerging constantly, asia has the potential for supergrowth
online casinos are creating enormous profits
given all this - cash generative - huge market - fsa approval
infastructure in place to handle growth, profits accrue to bottom line
the market force is behind it with good relative strength
all put together it is hard to argue against this has the potential
to be a blockbuster over the year ahead

Up down ,up down ,come on Neteller sort yourself out , lets hope SBT results are good next month ,it could have an effect on the whole gaming sector...
If they are good ,i think we may move to new highs ..

Agreed Jimmy
We seem to follow SBT on the sp for what reason
i don't know. More important is newsflow which
should link us to a major bank before xmas.
My broker tells me SBT results due 12 oct
will be very good indeed and i trust his view.
However a deal is what we need,
having a breather at present and volatile,
but assuming no negative news from the sector
breaks and the overall market stays positive
we are in great shape, with a lot more to come.

SBT have some bad press to clear up too (Shares p20), but like you I don't see why NLR should follow!

I read that too Ruthie, hopefully like it says ( "the amount Rotoplay is suing for is likely to be insignificant" ) the fact is PRTY hurt the gaming sector recently ,hopefully a good set of results from SBT can revive it ,and reading HUSTLER above, it's looking good. Cheers JB..

What a bloodbath !!!!!
Last time it was PRTY
This time it's EOL that's responsible.
I suppose next time it will be SBT and we can all pick up NLR at a fiver !!!
It's daft.

Hi All
Crap day for holders, great day for new money.
Very volitile still at present short term could go either way
sector is skitish. as is Aim, but if you can't see the wood for
the trees. Try To, when the smokescreen clears
my view for what it is worth is now a target of 15.00 plus
given 12 - 18 months on current stats. If it's not broken
don't fix it.easy to say and hard to do i know but i refuse to day trade.
All the best

Excelent post Hustler.
Still in these and just keeping them warm. Obviously at some time here in the UK growth is going to slow. Its then up to management to flog the brand aboard as they are doing now.
The one thing that worries me is that the company is open to the 'general picture' in the online gaming market. The bubble will burst at sometime.
This one is now a bottom drawer stock and obviously one of the reasons I rarely comment on this thread.
A pension provider for me many years down the line.
cheers GF.

I know you cannot go against the flow but at some stage the market will have to realise that the futures of NLR and FPA are far more rosier than the futures of the gambling sites themselves.
The collapse in the Neteller SP is spooky. FireOne has just joined in.
It's just a matter of deciding when is the right time to buy.
Common sense suggests current levels are very attractive.
However common sense appears to have gone out of the window.

From another BB ...
"
Seems like the fall in gamiing stocks is only part of the reason for the mark down. From the Guardian today
"Elsewhere in the sector, Neteller, which has created an e-wallet for online gamblers, was marked 71p lower at 737.5p, unsettled by rumours of a large share placing. Traders noted that 55% shareholder Corvina is released from a lock-up agreement on November 4."
55%, talk of an overhang !!
"
Anyone know any more details on this?
Cheers.

If that is the case then, ultimately, it will be good for the shares as it will improve liquidity (not that they are likely to unload the whole lot !!!).
However their 55% shareholding has been hit for over 100 million in the last week or so !!!
and the hit is getting bigger every few minutes at the moment !!!

This is a very profitable, cash rich business with lots of customers and they have announced that they have had discussions with various banks - can see some of those salivating over picking up some of the Corvina stake, especially at these levels. Got back in today at 710p, where on fundamentals price looks sound value.

Well done Partridge.
Smart move getting on board again, like a thief at this price.
My broker begged me to buy sportingbet again today ahead
of results tomorrow, the words bottle & bollocks were used in the
conversation but i still resisted on SBT as i believe the sector is
to volitile, however in time i am sure Neteller will divorce itself from
the mayhem and its true value will be seen.
After all it dosen't gamble it just takes the money from those
that do.
Enjoy the ride.
