Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

This thread is to long to read so apologies if this is already known and or explained.

If you put in an invalid epic for streaming charts you do not get an error message instead it appears as though the stream is being lost and retried. For non streaming you do get an unknown epic error in the chart area.

Spaceman,

I will pass this feedback onto Felix, to see if this is something we can amend.

Thanks

Ian

Thanks Ian,
and now for a hard one? would it be possible to add a user entered field in stockwatch? The reason for this that I keep a stockwatch of stocks that I have seen mentioned by others and that I want to monitor for a while. It would be brilliant if it was possible to put a comment next to each one saying why it was on the list, e.g. Mentioned by Ruth (obviously this isn't a real example).

I think this is probably much more difficult to implement but would be very useful for me and I expect many others.

Spaceman,

Not something we are looking at at the moment, but I will make the developers aware.

If you have any further ideas, we are always willing to listen so please feel free to E mail me

Ian, dont know if this is right thread so appologies in advance. You could do with having a look at your trade data feed. On my trade supplier, for KMR it gives the correct time even though they came through an hour delayed. But your info just seems to show when they appeared.
There is a 200k block and a 70k. We just discussed it on traders thread...

Thanks David 2000

No probs, leave it with you. Only trying to help to make MAM a better place!!:-))).

Haystack - 23 Sep 2003 08:57 - 1242 of 7315

On Level 2 for FTC. I am getting no scroll bars for orders, no depth count etc. and no filter % boxes. Other stocks are OK. Just 11 orders on sell and buy

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Sep 2003 09:00 - 1243 of 7315

Haystack - I will take a look at this for you.

EDIT - this is a SEAQ stock - I have checked with our data supplier and there are no scroll bars as what you can see is the full depth of the order book on each side.

Regards

Ian

Sorry I realised after my post that it was not a SETS stock and lists are MMs.

Not fully awake this morning!

dell314 - 24 Sep 2003 08:53 - 1246 of 7315

I'm getting the grey screen on Stockwatch today.
Was fine yesterday. I noted someone else had same problem on this thread a while ago.

Other more minor issues:

I still get the grey screen on L2 every so often(usually after I clear my internet cache)and have to go through the rigmarole of resetting display to defaults. Is it possible to review your settings to prevent this happening?

Also, should I be able to call up bond prices on L2 as MT.A defaults to MT stock prices?

No level 1 info on the EMP L2 screen today(i.e. no trades and midprice is zero)

Rgds
dell

IanT(MoneyAM) - 24 Sep 2003 08:57 - 1247 of 7315

Dell,

If you are getting a grey screen, please could you restart your pc this should clear the problem.

I will raise the Level 2 grey screen with our technical department adn get them to Email you with regard to this.

Unfortunately, you cannot pull up bond prices on L2.

If you have any further questions, please E mail me ian@moneyam.com

Thanks

Ian
