"A Very similar case to BPRG and SEO was settled only last week . Punitive damages were minimal as no percuiary advantage had been made by the offending party........"
Please state said case so that the more reasoned investor can establish its relevance.
I believe SEO are fully provided in their accounts for all legal costs to date(ergo ..irrelevant insurance debate).
Finishing on a note of levity.Wish this poster would use decent paragraphs.

Just had this reply from Neville Harris at Stanelco...all reads good to me. I am sure he won't mind me posting it on here:
James, apologies for the delay in replying ...Monday was my first day back
from hols and I had to be out again all day yesterday.
We will certainly update the market more fully when we issue a pre-close
update, sometime around the end of this month (the year end is October)and
if there is anything material before then, of course we will let folk know.
We all feel generally that there is quite a lot of "shorting" going on in
the market, particularly over the last week and in the short-term there is
not a great deal we can do. In the meantime, the company is working out the
best way to proceed with the starch filters project and is pressing on with
both Greenseal and the other products out of the Biotec portfolio.
Everyone at the company is just as frustrated as you about the share price,
but until the profits start to flow through, we must accept that valuing
Stanelco is more art than science and this provides hedge funds etc with an
opportunity.
We are all trying to be patient, but some days it's not easy!!

A pre-close update would normally be a few days after the end of the trading period in question - so sometime in the first week or so of November is when I would expect to see something, not by 31st October.

Stockdog, I think the release has to be before the end of the period as then the have the closed period up until the results are announced. I didn't think they were aloud to release anything pertaining to the last financial year between the end of the period and results announcement.

In addition walmart said it will show preferance to companies in China that participate in a "green company program" where the company will show preferance to suppliers and there factories are involved in such a program.

Amities / Although a usual harpinger of doom it would appear that for once the posting No.12337 made by ii is quite correct . . Whoever suggested a pre close update was forecoming on Friday , or indeed yesterday , were well wide of the mark; and yesterdays somewhat derisory trading volumes somewhat proved that . Reg todays RSN :To be totally honest i was labouring under the impression that EVO were already SEos nominated advisers and brokers . Hardly new news . Can anyone rectify status as to previous brokers ? As regards Sd s apt qouatation From the Scottish play ,,> After the meeting with the witches Macbeth is told his destiny is one of Duke of Glamis,,,then Cawdaw and from Cawdaw to King hereafter....,,,Nice one SD ... lmplications are not lost on those following the path of ambition and with a half decent education

tfc, not really, which is why i asked if there was any significance to the change. what normally follows a change of broker? new forecasts? a placing?

...at least an update by the new broker - normally with a Buy recommendation?? - but I too was under the mistaken impression that EVO were already their nominated brokers ?

Would gave thought that there will be a release form Evo soon, because they will now have access to information not available to them when they wrote previous reviews, and a much clearer view of the companies financial position.

Now I understand, SD. Shakespeare. I got one of his books at home. "The complete works" I think it's called. I have never read it though, because I'm not into DIY.
