Lost me there and I'm not sure this would be the place to explain what a "Sharon" is.

Just installed XP SP2, 15 minutes and no problems (so far).

Socrates - 24 Aug 2004 19:09 - 12370 of 23498

Jeffmack
Did you mean the link for SP2?

jeffmack - 24 Aug 2004 19:11 - 12371 of 23498

yes old Socs

Socrates - 24 Aug 2004 19:17 - 12372 of 23498

Jeffmack
There is no link. For XP home, which is what I have got, you have to switch on auto-update. It will then please itself when it downloads and informs you there are updates to install. If you click on Windows Update, it will go to the update centre and help set up the auto system. It must be easy cos' I did it.

If you have XP Pro I believe the update is not out yet, not sure about that.

Enough techie talk, let's get the kettle on and the sherry trifle served up.

Kayak - 24 Aug 2004 19:22 - 12373 of 23498

Socs, that would be a "Sharon Stone"

jeffmack - 24 Aug 2004 19:25 - 12374 of 23498

Socs, yes I've got XP Pro, that explains why I couldnt find it.

jeffmack - 24 Aug 2004 19:26 - 12375 of 23498

Kayak

jeffmack - 24 Aug 2004 19:27 - 12376 of 23498

Can you all please tell the Dow to get down.

Socrates - 24 Aug 2004 19:32 - 12377 of 23498

Oh I see. Shades of the Bermuda Triangle!

chocolat - 24 Aug 2004 19:45 - 12378 of 23498

Would that it were so easy to find, eh Socks?
