NETeller - CASHING IN (NLR)

HUSTLER - 17 Nov 2004 20:02

NETeller - NLR - 3.15
Thought i would start a new thread following on from
hawick - new issue looks very special - not to steal the thunder from
hawick but just to highlight the company name to those not already in to this
potential blockbuster.
Those of us who are following NETeller know the background and have been
active with postings, for newcomers i strongly sugest viewing the
( new issue looks very special posting )the content will speak for itself.

Brief overview of NETeller
The company handles online cash transactions across the globe
on 21st oct gained fsa approval to operate as a regulated e-money issuer
and will passport the regulated status to all 25 EU member states
it has over 1 million clients rising by 2000 number each day
1500 online merchants and processed over $1.5 billion in 2003
pre tax profit is estimated to be 29 million to dec 04 rising to
40 million next year
per currently 20 to dec 04 falling to 11.5 which is low for sector
brokers have been raising forcasts on a regular basis
share price has risen over 50% since launch earlier this year
new markets emerging constantly, asia has the potential for supergrowth
online casinos are creating enormous profits
given all this - cash generative - huge market - fsa approval
infastructure in place to handle growth, profits accrue to bottom line
the market force is behind it with good relative strength
all put together it is hard to argue against this has the potential
to be a blockbuster over the year ahead

Excelent post Hustler.

Still in these and just keeping them warm. Obviously at some time here in the UK growth is going to slow. Its then up to management to flog the brand aboard as they are doing now.

The one thing that worries me is that the company is open to the 'general picture' in the online gaming market. The bubble will burst at sometime.

This one is now a bottom drawer stock and obviously one of the reasons I rarely comment on this thread.

A pension provider for me many years down the line.

cheers GF.

Good to see you back on this thread.

I know you cannot go against the flow but at some stage the market will have to realise that the futures of NLR and FPA are far more rosier than the futures of the gambling sites themselves.
The collapse in the Neteller SP is spooky. FireOne has just joined in.
It's just a matter of deciding when is the right time to buy.
Common sense suggests current levels are very attractive.
However common sense appears to have gone out of the window.

From another BB ...

"
Seems like the fall in gamiing stocks is only part of the reason for the mark down. From the Guardian today

"Elsewhere in the sector, Neteller, which has created an e-wallet for online gamblers, was marked 71p lower at 737.5p, unsettled by rumours of a large share placing. Traders noted that 55% shareholder Corvina is released from a lock-up agreement on November 4."

55%, talk of an overhang !!
"

Anyone know any more details on this?

Cheers.

supermono13 - 11 Oct 2005 10:14 - 1244 of 1341

If that is the case then, ultimately, it will be good for the shares as it will improve liquidity (not that they are likely to unload the whole lot !!!).
However their 55% shareholding has been hit for over 100 million in the last week or so !!!
and the hit is getting bigger every few minutes at the moment !!!

partridge - 11 Oct 2005 13:34 - 1245 of 1341

This is a very profitable, cash rich business with lots of customers and they have announced that they have had discussions with various banks - can see some of those salivating over picking up some of the Corvina stake, especially at these levels. Got back in today at 710p, where on fundamentals price looks sound value.

HUSTLER - 12 Oct 2005 00:06 - 1246 of 1341

Well done Partridge.
Smart move getting on board again, like a thief at this price.
My broker begged me to buy sportingbet again today ahead
of results tomorrow, the words bottle & bollocks were used in the
conversation but i still resisted on SBT as i believe the sector is
to volitile, however in time i am sure Neteller will divorce itself from
the mayhem and its true value will be seen.
After all it dosen't gamble it just takes the money from those
that do.
Enjoy the ride.

Funny you turned up again at the same time as SUE gf , was going to ask you the same thing , she got more your type of style :-)

supermono13 - 07 Nov 2005 09:20 - 1248 of 1341

Excellent third quarter results today.
Typically the share goes down 35p on profit taking !!!!!!!!!
However the prospects remain excellent - no sign of any problems in this corner of the internet gambling world.
I suspect the market makers will now get onto the story regarding that big placing by founder shareholders to drive down the price even more !!

At last .................. here is the placing of 35 million shares at 625p.
Short term weakness I suspect but long term a very good thing.

Good spot Mono
directors buying heavy and cheap
Xmas come early if anyone has any spare cash
this is fast becoming the steal of the century
We all hope,

supermono13 - 08 Nov 2005 07:45 - 1252 of 1341

Two buy recommendations today: Daily Telegraph's Questor column and the Independent's investment column (the latter being particularly positive).
Now that the placing is out of the way it is worth stashing a few of these away as IMHO these will be one of the better performing shares over the next 12 months.
The same applies to FireOne (FPA) the mini-Neteller. Their results are due in a couple of days with the added bonus of no share placing rumours doing the markets !!
Take your pick and enjoy the ride.

SEADOG - 08 Nov 2005 07:57 - 1253 of 1341

Fire One results very good (0700 this morning news) and very much in the direction of Neteller I hope NLR will climb a bit today on the back of FPA results

ateeq180 - 08 Nov 2005 13:58 - 1254 of 1341

Is this ratio correct 38 million sells.it looks the other way round to me,or is this a right ratio of buys and sells.

loadsadosh - 08 Nov 2005 14:27 - 1255 of 1341

I think the figures relate to this item which shows that the shares were placed with institutions, so maybe there should be a balancing buy entry.

Thankyou

moneyplus - 08 Nov 2005 15:46 - 1257 of 1341

this should make the shares more liquid and hopefully they'll bounce back strongly. I did very well in this co. but couldn't resist putting some profits back in again and starting to build my holding again. they seem at bargain levels to me!

stuartth1309 - 08 Nov 2005 15:59 - 1258 of 1341

mp, did the same myself this morning.

Have been waiting on the sidelines for a while after a good profit early this year. As you suggest I think NLR will bouce from this level.

The story is a good one and with diversification from gambling, it should get better and hopefully less volatile. Hopefully :)

Cheers.
