My understanding is that if your main income is as an investor your profits are taxed as income tax into which ever band you fall

construction shares apparently went up after the announcement re:Olympics!!! now if we'd been good we would have known that and made a fortune...hindsight!!!!

i've started to improve recently and have good profits in D1 but will probably hold them long term so the tax won't matter!!!

Bare: Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the stock challenge, I looked a right fool (fourth from bottom) until CSH 60% rise yesterday, I know stand a respectable 60 something. Just above the "monkey with a pin"!! Let's hope RTM tell us something soon, good luck all.
