bosley - 03 Nov 2005 12:08 - 12425 of 27111

baza, any news come through about this mornings prelim hearing?

insiderinside - 03 Nov 2005 12:37 - 12426 of 27111

driver - LOL - large buys ? - LOL

big sells going through - for those challenged in the basics - its simple - large trades - price is up and blue - they were buys - price is down and red - they were sells - you have multiple large dumps going on - and have had for a very long time - notice the downtrend for many many months -

this is news driven - but there is no significant news coming - forget the Asda Starpol trials - it means nothing - wait and see - no pre close update - that is due to having nothing to say - apart from more more losses - coming your way -

All IMO - DYOR !!

insiderinside - 03 Nov 2005 12:39 - 12427 of 27111

from the chart some people would short to 11p - but I do not short - some people do though -

Bos - no news - but not really expecting any - I think it is simply outlining the schedule for the CC to both parties.

Must admit, the disposal does not look good. ( see RNS ).

Exercise of options and PDMR transactions in shares

Biscuit - 03 Nov 2005 16:56 - 12431 of 27111

Why does it not look good Greekman?

belisce6 - 03 Nov 2005 17:06 - 12432 of 27111

technical director disposing of half his options when exercised.....doesn't look good because it may show people that he doesn't believe that the sp will be much higher in the short to medium term......although there is always the possibility that the guy simply wanted his "cash" now......[notice the timing of the announcement.....hahaha]

(this topic is something that has always baffled me in regards to director's holdings.....to impress shareholders they must have a decent chunk of shares, but then they cannot make much of it cos if they dump any at the top or as the sp goes higher; then it will look negative towards the shareholders....yet if you were a director and had a fair-sized decent paper profit, wouldn't you prefer to say....buy yourself another house with it??)

greekman - 03 Nov 2005 17:19 - 12433 of 27111

Yes, I agree that it could be a take of a reasonable profit. Not trying to de ramp as I am a holder of SEO since the days of 4p, its just that if you were a director, looking towards a significant rise within the next couple of months as we ( most ) of us appear to be would'nt you hang onto all your shares. Athough reason for the sale might be an obvious one, ie needs the cash.
I try to put a positive slant on most news related items, as most holders probably do, ( I dont want the sp to drop ) but to me it just did'nt promote confidence.

belisce6 - 03 Nov 2005 17:26 - 12434 of 27111

and the RNS has been put out at 16.47 (according to my MAM screen)....on a thursday arvo......hahaha.......[-trying to sneak it in just as many people switch off for the week ??]

NielsJensen - 03 Nov 2005 17:32 - 12435 of 27111

If you had purchased below 2p, you'd be daft not to take a profit on some of it. The timing is such that people have time to figure this out before they panic.

Tomorrow may still be bad...

greekman - 03 Nov 2005 17:37 - 12436 of 27111

Yes thats all I was saying.
Take profit by all means, but what timing. In my own mind I am still confident, but as you say tomorrow may still be bad, after all presumably directors know what's round the corner.
Lets hope the director regrets not hanging on for a few days.

NielsJensen - 03 Nov 2005 17:45 - 12437 of 27111

He's probably not interested in the stockmarket and is acting on advise from a bean-counter.

Biscuit - 03 Nov 2005 18:07 - 12438 of 27111

Simply freeing up a bit of cash I suspect, if he wasn't confident he'd have sold the lot.

bosley - 03 Nov 2005 18:07 - 12439 of 27111

unbelievable!!! how on earth are investors supposed to believe a word that comes from seo when all and f**king sundry get rid of their options at the first opportunity? wouldn't it have been much better if he had kept his options and then bought some more? disappointed.

NielsJensen - 03 Nov 2005 18:20 - 12440 of 27111

Get real, bos. The guy is doing the right thing. Did it myself, regretted it and then later realised it was the right thing to do.

A rabbit in the hand, err, bird... :)

bhunt1910 - 03 Nov 2005 18:27 - 12441 of 27111

Remember also that once you get into the closed period (next week?) - then directors cannot sell their shares at all - so if he does need the money - then he has little choice.

See how the timing of the RNS now makes sense. EVO no doubt.
