Bioprogress (BPRG)

scorpion - 13 Aug 2003 13:54

Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

AdieH - 09 Nov 2004 19:04 - 1244 of 2372

oh and where did you come from, another shorter I take it, please declare why you are posting here...

Big Al - 09 Nov 2004 21:41 - 1245 of 2372

Blimey - didn't expect to home in on 80p that bloody quick!

Mind you, it was on the cards once that quid went. Still looking for 70's, mg! ;-))))

maddoctor - 09 Nov 2004 23:27 - 1246 of 2372

Al , the volume said it all. as you say 70ish

Stann - 10 Nov 2004 06:24 - 1247 of 2372

ssanebs ?
Please get your facts right, from the RNS.
"In June 2004, the Company announced that Wyeth had entered into an option
agreement to evaluate exclusively the SWALLO(TM) liquid fill technology for
certain specified product fields. This included evaluating the technology and
negotiating terms of a technology licensing agreement, machine supply agreement
and the film supply agreement within the fields. This process is progressing
well. BioProgress incurred a cost of 400,000 in the first half of 2004 to buy
back the first developmental SWALLO(TM) machine and all contracts and licensing agreements from Peter Black Healthcare, clearing the way for any future agreements with Wyeth"

How the telegraph can miss this fact shows how sloppy our press can be in reporting FACTS! Something your post distorts even further! Agenda?

daves dazzlers - 10 Nov 2004 07:37 - 1248 of 2372

Morning all, lets hope for a drive north today,,failing that another buy may be the order of the day .

AdieH - 10 Nov 2004 07:56 - 1249 of 2372

Yeah Stann, these people really p... me off, never post anything when the sp is positive then when the share price heads south up they pop.

I would really like to meet these people and see if they have any knowledge of the company they are slating, we can all make wild predictions but as you point out it is quite useful when people stick to the facts...

Regards.

AdieH - 10 Nov 2004 08:15 - 1252 of 2372

He is a busy man I would expect, I like you are holding (very small amount) because I believe in the companies technology etc, the SP will turn, just look at the fundamentals but it is prone to shorters because it hasn't managed to get revenue streams set in stone yet, the court case isn't helping either...

gavinwood - 10 Nov 2004 10:53 - 1253 of 2372

Well I wish I'd picked up some more of these sub 80p ealier today. I just wish these were not as volatile - I'm in for the long term but the movement on these scares me to death sometimes!

Janus - 10 Nov 2004 11:07 - 1254 of 2372

Agree on the volatility, but happy to pick up more @ 79 this morning.

AdieH - 10 Nov 2004 11:10 - 1255 of 2372

Wish I had too but like most am worried about the volatility...

Janus - 10 Nov 2004 11:29 - 1256 of 2372

Did you notice the bit in the RNS yesterday that mentioned Wyeth. Good news after the court case maybe ?

"One of the challenges we have faced is to be able to provide high quality film
production capacity to support companies like Wyeth (NYSE: WYE), Perrigo
(NASDAQ: PRGO), FMC (NYSE: FMC) and Colgate Palmolive (NYSE: CL) who for
security demand multiple sources of supply from suppliers with the capability to
follow and support them as they globalise products. Our LOCUM strategy will
enable us to properly service the future requirements of both existing and new
customers in an extremely cost-effective way, while giving us the added
flexibility of being able to rapidly gear up additional production capacity.'"

AdieH - 10 Nov 2004 11:57 - 1257 of 2372

Interesting Janus, well seen, want to add to my holding but still unsure what support level we are looking at, too many people posting negative comments as soon as we have a down day.

hlyeo98 - 10 Nov 2004 12:58 - 1258 of 2372

BOUGHT MORE TODAY AT 90P...IN THE LONG TERM THIS IS A SURE WINNER!!!

daves dazzlers - 10 Nov 2004 13:02 - 1259 of 2372

bradley007 - 10 Nov 2004 13:57 - 1260 of 2372

Hi all, interesting day so far... fuelled my BPRG addiction
agian this am... average north of here, however.. Where do the regular traders think we will see SP at close? I reckon 88 - 91...

Janus - 10 Nov 2004 14:03 - 1261 of 2372

Interesting that there were no court procedings scheduled for today, thought it was the last day for SEO to come up with the "new" evidence or have I got my dates wrong ?

johngtudor - 10 Nov 2004 14:15 - 1262 of 2372

Janus: SEO were given 7 days to submit the information relating to their claim to CC. I am not sure if the 7 days are working days or calender. The CC is scheduled to resit within 3-4 weeks of the last hearing to then hear SEO's claim. At this time no new date has been set. The SEO documents will be handed into Court, and it is not normal practice for any announcement to be made if they have or have not done so. We will just have to be patient.

AdieH - 10 Nov 2004 14:20 - 1263 of 2372

Topped up at 91p also, increased holding should balance out the loss at present...
