Huge Gas Find Today (FEP)

TheMaster - 26 Sep 2006 08:53

This is huge get in before the heard arrives to work this morning, the new VOG

Matt7777 - 17 Jan 2007 11:49 - 125 of 257

bigger volumes in the turnaround yesterday - perhaps cleared out the seller ? good follow through today.

I would imagine a project update is due fairly soon, with news on further assessment of the reserves + financing / farming out + then an updated production schedule.

I remember a broker target of 200p + , perhaps they've been reminding the market of the upside potential....

Confidant - 23 Feb 2007 14:14 - 127 of 257

OOOPS -- been asleep on this one SWW

waitng for some bigger down days on bigger vols to buy more. Thankfully sitting in at net less than zero thx to TheMaster alerting us via this thread --- ok opportunity cost and all that --- but will probably sit this one out --- maybe in 10 years or so things will get going :-)

cynic - 24 Feb 2007 07:42 - 128 of 257

the history of this stock since early September 2006 makes very interesting and distinctly salutary reading, unless you were unfortunate enough to be one of the suckered multitude.

eager followers of E&P stocks should be well-warned.

hlyeo98 - 24 Feb 2007 07:55 - 129 of 257

Sounds like VOG

cynic - 24 Feb 2007 08:06 - 130 of 257

exactly so .... and potentially with a significant number of other companies ..... forti18 has just been gloating at me for taking a decent profit out of SOLA (again), so i have answered accordingly, citing VOG as an example of the folly of failing to take decent profits along the line.

hello master, I would like to ask you some advice, as I can see you use the graphs. I have been approached by a company called mds in london. they do a 2 day traing course in london on spread betting ie. practical training worksop. the cost is 2 day training course 1,997. A gold package 3497 or mentorship 3997. Plus a 500 voucher off the cost. I am told by this company that after the course and the use of thir website. I will be able to tell when to buy and when to sell stocks, rather that try to guess which way the stocks are going. they have 20 seat available at a seminar. He has told me that on average after the course the majority of his students make 500 pips a month consistently. what is your opinion on this. maybe you have been on one of these courses yourself. Let me know your views on this. thankyou from janet.

janetbennison - 08 Jun 2007 20:47 - 135 of 257

I forgot to mention that I hold 10,000 fep shares and am down quite considerably on them. I bought when the price was high. Maybe they are on the way back up again now. Looking at the top graph and taking into consideration what I have been told about that graph. Now looks like the time to buy a few more.

cynic - 08 Jun 2007 21:01 - 136 of 257

janet .... you need a good smack bottom!

micky468 - 08 Jun 2007 21:15 - 137 of 257

hi janet hope this helps
The previous SELL-IF signal is now null and invalid. The bearish alert is rejected by todays long white candlestick. Continue to hold the stock and wait for a new signal.

Do not bother yourself with further buying or selling as long as the HOLD tag stays. Keep away from short selling as well.

janetbennison - 08 Jun 2007 22:34 - 138 of 257

cynic behave yourself or I will smack your bottom. back to the above cynic have you been on one of these courses? or are they a waste of time. I said to the person who phoned me today that if your courses work them every would eventually become millionaires.

ptholden - 09 Jun 2007 00:16 - 139 of 257

Why are they selling places on courses with a so called magical system, why not keep it to themselves and make millions?? Becuase they are not teaching anything you cannot learn yourself. Shortcuts do not exist.

cynic - 09 Jun 2007 07:47 - 140 of 257

never been on any course except a golf course

orangedog - 09 Jun 2007 11:48 - 141 of 257

Janet.Did you also know the moon is made of green cheese ?
Joking aside spread betting is exactly what it says on the tin i.e. BETTING
Do not give thousands of your hard earned to these two bit conmen

janetbennison - 09 Jun 2007 12:01 - 142 of 257

it sound to me like these classes are big money spinner. They do one class a month and charge approx 2-3 thousand a class over two days per person. They have 15 - 20 pupils per month. This includes using their web site for a year as well. So each month they earn 30,000 - 40,000 per class. Not bad for one teacher. Take care all, and good luck.

Big Ted - 09 Jun 2007 12:22 - 143 of 257

What PT said...
books, internet or plain old experiance, would never pay anyone for a course, of course...

niceonecyril - 12 Jun 2007 12:21 - 144 of 257
