Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
fundy , maybe you just got incredibly lucky. i cannot imagine anyone going into a casino and playing poker against a dealer who knows exactly what cards they have and who can pick the next card to play. but that's what people who play online are doing. it's based on the same algorithms as slot machines. "it" decides who wins and how much.
youve got it all wrong. The online poker sites (as opposed to video poker in the online casinos) you play against other real people and the house takes a small cut of each pot if a cash game or a small entry levy if a tournament
most of the sites have their systems regularly independently checked and audited and have their results released
Party Gaming.
t1ps.com...Tom Winnifrith says:
Indicative price of float is 111-127p. 4.78 billion in the middle..Joke.
EK Says:
the flotation of Party Gaming for $10 billion is a bit of a nonsense. I note that one of its founders made her first fortune in Internet pornography. That is a plus point. It shows that she knows how to lure people onto the web and extract dosh from them.
But Party Gaming is hopelessly overvalued. I worked through the numbers myself a few days ago and if this flotation gets away at $10 billion then Cherie Blair is the new Mother Theresa.
