Oh it's great to see some well known faces again, im so glad you found us here tucked away. And hello to any new faces too, we are just one big happy family here.

Hightone, Yes i will get your horse picks up again!

Olddog - 25 Jan 2003 17:10 - 128 of 23498

Well Gold D

Where have you been for the last day+ ?

I guess your Bon Homie may run out shortish when you try to match the till receipts with the stock

You neednt blame me either - I cant count

Anyroad, whats this about turning off the heating at weekends ?

I reckon if your going to do that then you should let any dog ( that keeps 'imself clean ) into that nice club in the Traders Room. You know the one, log fire & leather armchair nice deep pile carpet. Ah yes, That would be nice.

Well, how about it then ? only at weekends and no access to real time streaming ices or what ever you call them.

Can you swing it ? Its cold & lonely here at weekends. If you cant pull it then I'm off to bionics parkbench at least those cans keep the cold out.

Olddog, Im not sure what you have to do to get into the Country Lodge on the Traders room, it was the only thread available when i arrived here and so i setup the lodge there. Anyway what happened to all my dog biscuits hey?
:-)

8 Ball - 25 Jan 2003 20:36 - 133 of 23498

Two hours?

More like two weeks Fanta.

Most of us are over here now plus a few new ones which is nice.
Forky is now Old socks And Cilla is Vasey, not sure who the Olddog is.

GD I am tempted to subscribe to Shares for the year, then I too can lie on those Leather Lodge chairs.

Golddog - 25 Jan 2003 20:50 - 134 of 23498

Warning 8 ball, I just went into the lodge and did a doggy No2 on one of the leather seats, im just waiting for someone to clean it up. It wasn't me!

I quite like Lightners new name, suits him well i think.

Socrates - 25 Jan 2003 22:10 - 136 of 23498

Goldie
Which one, Socrates or Old Socks?

Evening all, just watching my favourite subject on television, volcanoes. I just love nature.

Hi Fanta, what happened to the split capitals?

8 Ball - 25 Jan 2003 22:40 - 137 of 23498

Evening old Socks....

Golddog how's the wine testing going, still testing red's?

I am a regular tester of Landiras Californian red.(12)

Warm and full bodied, From The san joaquin or central valley of California.
Enjoyable on its own or with red meat, cheese and salad.

But best of all it comes in a 3 Litre box........

Socrates - 26 Jan 2003 16:15 - 138 of 23498

Very quiet here, I do hope Sundays are going to buck up a bit, I get so lonely on my own. Time for a cuppa.

8 Ball - 26 Jan 2003 16:26 - 139 of 23498

Stick another bag in the pot please.

vasey - 26 Jan 2003 16:28 - 140 of 23498

The joy of socks, is that, apart from when you put them in a machine, they generally are never alone!

Whilst you're in the kitchen, you couldn't put those sausages (in the fridge) in the oven? They will be cooked and cool enough for the two hounds when they come back....

Socrates - 26 Jan 2003 16:34 - 141 of 23498

OK 8 ball, plenty in the pot for you to wet your whistle.

vasey

Nice to see you.

Oh dear were they for the hounds? I've scoffed the lot. Tell you what, there is a butcher in cheltenham who makes 100% meat snorkers, I'll pop round and buy some as a special treat for them. I'm not sure though, do you think they might prefer venison snorkers or pork and chives perhaps?

vasey - 26 Jan 2003 16:42 - 142 of 23498

Nah! Wait till they complain they haven't been fed!

jeffmack - 26 Jan 2003 17:14 - 143 of 23498

I always try to do my own DIY. Woke up this morning to find find water leaking from the ceiling in my kitchen. The pipe at the top of the cylinder had sprung a leak. I can do that I thought, and I did, took about four hours what with going back and forth to DIY stores. Turned on the water, still leaking, so called an emergency plumber. I'd fractured the top of the cylinder, 300 for a new one .... DOH

Socrates - 26 Jan 2003 17:17 - 144 of 23498

I always try NOT to do my own DIY. For reason why, see post 142.
