I know the emails were late -due to this email virus going around called "My Doom" -it uses bulk mail to infect others and has an attchment in binary form -so if u open it than its ASTALAVISTA for the PC. So if u get mail and are not sure -just delete dont open.

Javaid u r right about the stops - I tend to use "Small stake with a wide stop In the medium term" trades -easier to refer to it as SWIM.

What are your views for today?

Ps: Do you do the FX trades? -they are good earners and do move about 100-200 points.The trends tend to be more reliable ,volatality is fine and less prone to noise and market manipulation.

i have got a long and short again for the dow. i also have a long s&p to 1170. i think dow is not going to do anything significant so hoping to close both bets at high and low. if i dont do it today i will try do it tomorrow.
i do the euor/dollar and pound/dollar but havent for a few weeks now after my last big profit.
zarif, what program do you use? i have asked previously and i apologise if you already answered and i missed it. i use sharescope and esignal myself.

javidshaik, i used a tight stop this morning as I was scalping, which i promised myself i wouldn't so serves me right.

i've just shorted GBP/USD on my simulator. don't ask me what price i've just shut it down and can't remember.

I have this uncanny feeling about the dow today that it is going to POP UP and then drop -possibly after the greenspan speech.( Just thinking out aloud -nag)

Snoball -on the fx -try the USD/GBP as a long say keep stop loss at 18200 and target 1.84 and longer term 1.89
On the saxo demo -where it says trading you will find analysis subfolder which has all the research and the maintrends and trades and from what levels -I find it very useful.

well im doing good on it going down at the moment. depending on what greenspan says, i will close my down and after he has finishes and leave up open (hoping to get that closed tonight).

dow is very much channeling today. not giving me a big enough profit to take either way.
may change when greenspan talks (next half hour i believe).

Snoball some days are like that.Dont worry as it will bounce up again- than catch it by the tail and go with it.

A 200 point drop in one day - what's that all about?

Snoball just closed the second short for 85pt gain.
I think snoball the truth as u said is finally catching up with them.!!!!!

Also i think it will shoot up again this week and next.Just a retracement of the wave to compleletion i think and then move up ahgain for 10700-10750 and over as i am sure mr joe bloggs dont want to lose the election.

Am seriously pondering the notion of taking out a long atm.

I'm going to stay flat until the smoke clears.
As far as I'm concerned the main trend is still long until below 10400 or 10350.
And that may be a buying opportunity.
Maybe the Feds want to spank the bears again.

Snoball try USD/CAd Short it for 2/pt or 1/pt daily spot (expires 8pm tomorrow) at 13250 area on daily (see what the future march is) and it should come good.
