US distribution agreement for Skunk fu! toyline

"Galleon Holdings plc (AIM: GON), the AIM listed entertainment media company focused on the emerging markets, today announces it has signed its first distribution agreement in the US for the Skunk fu! toyline with Zizzle Toys, a major toy manufacturer that specialises in developing and marketing innovative toy products."

Galleon sets sail with Xilam

NEWS BRIEF: Children's entertainment rights owner Galleon Entertainment has signed an agreement with Xilam to represent all licensing rights for three of the French animation company's kids properties.

A Kind of Magic (26x30') is a 2D fantasy comedy licensed to broadcasters such as Disney Channel and France 3, among others; Oggy (200x7' or 65x30') is a family comedy broadcast in more than 120 countries; and Rahan (26x26') is an comedy action/adventure series that has sold to France 3, Canal Plus (France) and ZDF (Germany) among others.

I'd better give a quick (may not be spot on) bit of history on the Pokon phenomenon:

The first animation series was shown globally about 10 years ago.

There have been about 11 Pokon films with the first in 1999.

The Pokon comic book outsells every other comic book on the shelf.

After the original Pokon was released, sales of Nintendos GameBoy system jumped 249%

Total Pokon videogame sales of 175 million copies are second only to the Mario series.

The Pokon Trading Card Game is the number one collectible trading card game in the world.

I could be wrong but most of Croco's work has been for South America and Europe and as far as I'm aware they haven't stepped into China/SEA as yet!

The Phoenix site clearly states that Croco are heading down the China/SEA route and knowing GON they have probably made contacts and deals already.China holds roughly 20% of the world population and GON,Phoenix and Croco are in there!

This is interesting and if read to the letter it would suggest the 'puppet' part of Apollo's Pad has ended which would be born out by the lack of new 'webisodes'.

First of all it's not definite that the puppet webisodes have ended.

The hunt for Miss Apollo 2009 and the comments relating to Apollo's Pad would suggest the concept is here to stay:
