Good luck LW, I hope you make it, you will need to add an extra week to get over all the hassle!

dreamcatcher - 16 Sep 2014 19:03 - 1270 of 1700

Keep your head up lw, you will get there. Where is there ? :-))

kimoldfield - 17 Sep 2014 00:50 - 1271 of 1700

Far away from here? :o)

little woman - 17 Sep 2014 10:22 - 1272 of 1700

There is Turkey. I've been learning Turkish and wish to try it out. Trouble is, once October hits, to pool water at the apartment we have, cools down fast.

dreamcatcher - 17 Sep 2014 17:46 - 1273 of 1700

All the more time for drinks then. :-)) It was 40 centigrade out there the week before last and 35 c odd last week, a friend just came back.

kimoldfield - 17 Sep 2014 18:08 - 1274 of 1700

Ah, Turkish Delight and apple tea, gulets and amazing scenery. Brings back memories of a holiday in Marmaris where my wife was convinced that she saw a ghost and I (a non believer) was not so sure! Enjoy! :o)

kimoldfield - 17 Sep 2014 18:09 - 1275 of 1700

I'll be happy to be wrong this month if Scotland stays with the UK.

Joe Say - 18 Sep 2014 07:16 - 1284 of 1700

Who wants a union with those spongers - Vote Yes - and let them take their fair share of the debt and let's just see how 'good' these scots are at economics etc

After all, we've had Brown and RBS- they s/b just fine

little woman - 18 Sep 2014 11:11 - 1285 of 1700

I just thought....

If Scotland goes independent, I guess that means all the MP's there will no longer have a seat in the UK Parliament!

That is 59 MP's less

midknight - 18 Sep 2014 11:14 - 1286 of 1700

Yes, LW, and as the majority are Labour, 39 I think, one can see how it would affect
