STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 12:08 - 12694 of 23498

Afternoon each,
Late start today, so I think a cup of tea while I contemplate an accompaniment to the Grand Prix

STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 12:42 - 12695 of 23498

The beneficial powers of tea are remarkable, I have figured out what to have next....F E B, knew I'd forgotten something.

STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 13:04 - 12696 of 23498

Excellent preparation for the race, and no-one about, so wind the sound up on the tv, and sit back with first Guinness of the day...bliss

Socrates - 29 Aug 2004 13:19 - 12697 of 23498

Good day Stormy. As you say, the restorative powers of tea are remarkable. I hope you enjoyed your FEB, I enjoyed mine much earlier but there was no one awake so I kept my counsel.

Now settling down to watch the replay of the M25 remake, otherwise known as the Belgian Grand Prix.

STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 13:28 - 12698 of 23498

Good day to you Socs. Ununsual race this one, having just returned to the calender, the redesign hasn't managed to iron out all the overtaking points so you can actually change position while not in the pits?!?

Socrates - 29 Aug 2004 13:39 - 12699 of 23498

Could be an interesting race, shame about Schumacher though.

STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 13:52 - 12700 of 23498

I think he is pretty safe, Barrichello is off the pace, so he should win the title today.

Socrates - 29 Aug 2004 13:54 - 12701 of 23498

My point exactly.

STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 14:00 - 12702 of 23498

Unfortunately the other teams just haven't challenged at all this season, the title hasn't been under threat since race 2. That isn't Schumacher's fault of course, but it is disappointing.

Socrates - 29 Aug 2004 14:19 - 12703 of 23498

Right, the cars just haven't made it.

STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 14:34 - 12704 of 23498

I feel it's even more than that, Ferrari have out-thought their opponents in race tactics, and the michelin tyres have under-performed, overrall it's been a rout this season.

Socrates - 29 Aug 2004 14:58 - 12705 of 23498

Time for tea.

STORMCALLER - 29 Aug 2004 15:13 - 12706 of 23498

I have to go and deal with some chores now, will try and get back later.

Bye all,

SC

Socrates - 29 Aug 2004 15:29 - 12707 of 23498

What chores? Oh, that's very kind, I'll have a double whisky. Boom boom.

Socrates - 29 Aug 2004 23:21 - 12708 of 23498

Quite quiet here tonight.

stockbunny - 30 Aug 2004 10:41 - 12709 of 23498

Morning All
See the place is nice and tidy, stocks a bit low but not drastic..
Stormy - now would I 'bollock' you over your tidying up skills? Certainly
not, I appreciate all your efforts, even if I find it hard to work out why
the ashtrays are put in soak at the end of the night in the pond outside....
I am sure you have your reasons and that is good enough for me....(lol)

Brocks can drink all the Bollie she wants, you know where the spares are
Brock if you want them? (Yes as always hidden in the compartment under the
buddha) Brocks knows the bunny loves her Shiraz Cab' or Cab' Sauv' and
couldn't give a 'Bollie' about Bollie!!

Mud Gausie??? There's a skip of it out the front...????? Well thanks, I assume
it is Black Sea mud??? Goodness knows where we will store it, but we've
got a couple of years worth of mud packs girls!! Help yourselves.....

Socrates - 30 Aug 2004 10:51 - 12710 of 23498

Good morning Bunny, your tail looks a bit perky this morning. Markets a bit slow isn't it, no movement at all. I've brought in all the replenishments necessary, the trucks just need off-loading and all will be sweetness and light. Even brought in some novely sherry trifle, from Taiwan, I dread to think what may be in it.

stockbunny - 30 Aug 2004 11:07 - 12711 of 23498

Morning Socco - Yes the new conditioner I bought is good stuff,
fluffs the bunny up nicely...

Trifle from Taiwan??? I wouldn't touch it Socs, you know it's bound
to be made of plastic!!

Socrates - 30 Aug 2004 11:13 - 12712 of 23498

Plastic, not judging by the smell of it! What are you up to today? I may just go out for a ride in the country, not decided which country yet.

stockbunny - 30 Aug 2004 11:19 - 12713 of 23498

LOL Socs - how about a quick trip to somewhere warm and beautiful?

Had a couple of very busy days, so this one is basically a 'chilling'
day for me and it's welcome I can tell you!
I have just proposed on the
FTSE game thread that tomorrow be declared an additional bank holiday
and wonder if you would support such a move?? After all it would give you
another day off.....of course I don't have an ulterior motive at all..
No Sir..Me..wouldn't do such a thing ;>)
