Welcome to MoneyAM

Bullshare - 22 Jan 2003 20:35

Welcome to MoneyAM.

Today sees the launch of MoneyAM, a bright new financial website for the smart investor. Our aim is quite simple: we aim to become the UK's leading web-based supplier of shares related content and data.

Streaming real time share prices, up to the minute portfolios, live city news, email alerts, bulletin boards, company fundamentals plus expert analysis supplied by the same award-winning team of journalists, analysts and researchers that produce Shares Magazine every week. These are just some of the great features that MoneyAM provides free to anyone who registers on the site.

Our premium paid for services are compelling and competitively priced and a must for the serious investor/trader. Unlimited level 1, FTSE indices, alerts, Premium market scan tools and the Traders Room (Bulletin Board) are just some of the extras on offer. Level 2 services will be coming to MoneyAM very soon!!!

We hope you enjoy using the site.

Regards

Mike Boydell
Managing Director

Ah yes lemonfool I forgot about them I'm not sure that I registered or not I will check.

That format was what Hilary was talking about as a platform to use to set a site up.

"I think what people are beginning to appreciate is how much we should thank Mike for keeping MAM going as long as it has. "

So, we get an invite to Shares after pretty much 16 fantastic years around here. Hmm.

Shame MAM seems to have bitten the dust, but I can still remember when we all moved over here from the dark side. It's been fantastic and must admit I probably contributed to this site falling away. I guess life moves on, but it has been a shame to see it fade away.

All the best to everyone, where've you end up.

Thanks to all at MAM
Al

It is a particular shame for those looking for a new job.

Bigwig. Its been a very long time since we last chatted. Im still in touch with the other oldies such at Martini, greystone, gausie, pinsticker, etc from the Esi/Etrade/advfn and Bugle club days. I left AJ Bell/Shares/MAM at end on 2018 as felt I had done my time and the IPO helped. Now pottering, though am setting up a new venture at holiston.com. Cant quite sit still.

Good luck with Holiston Mike, looks interesting, I don't think you'll be doing much sitting still!😊

HARRYCAT - 24 Jan 2019 10:49 - 134 of 294

Is StockMarketWire.com a satellite site of MAM or a stand alone site?

Bigwig - 24 Jan 2019 17:10 - 135 of 294

Mike - fantastic, great to hear that you are still in touch with those guys! I'm spending more time in London again nowadays (one of my clients is actually in Paternoster Square - say no more) so ... we should see if we can hook up again maybe with some of the golden oldies. Do you still have my email?

Martini - 24 Jan 2019 17:53 - 136 of 294

How about Battersea Barge? :)

Bullshare - 25 Jan 2019 09:04 - 137 of 294

black bird - 31 Jan 2019 16:07 - 138 of 294

please post any alternatives, to money AM what a huge loss BB

Stan - 31 Jan 2019 16:10 - 139 of 294

www.lemonfool.com seems worth a look BB.

HARRYCAT - 31 Jan 2019 17:23 - 140 of 294

Tricky to find a site which has both a Stockwatch facility and a busy bulletin board.

Stan - 31 Jan 2019 23:44 - 141 of 294

Yes that’s the problem one or the other so far.

sponge - 01 Feb 2019 16:35 - 142 of 294

can anyone recommed LVL2 alternatives (one that actually works and is reasonbly priced)?

Fred1new - 01 Feb 2019 17:20 - 143 of 294

Have a look at https://www.sharescope.co.uk/

Have a look at sister program sharepad.

Various levels and reasonable price.

I usually use end of the day and 15mins delay.

It seems to have lost its BB. but staff are very helpful and Graphics VG.

But I do/did like MM.

Stan - 01 Feb 2019 17:36 - 144 of 294

Thanks Fred and I'm still considering that offer thank you.

sponge - 04 Feb 2019 06:17 - 145 of 294

it's a little expensive- you have to subscribe to a package and then add the level2 ,so it could end up costing £50+ per month.

Was looking for something like what we have here

Stan - 04 Feb 2019 10:04 - 146 of 294

That probably sums up a lot of people’s feelings sponge.
