CMS to chair this conference in Budapest on the 4/5 march. Could Russia be the
next TDI customer. This info comes from the CMS website (stop press) link.
CHAIRMAN'S FOREWORD
I would like to thank the General Assembly of the AFM for making the RTS Stock Exchange an Associate Member of the AFM and electing me the Chairman of the Association for the year 2003-2004.
The AFM plays a remarkable role in the world futures and options industry - it facilitates integration of newly established derivative exchanges, brokerages and other market participants from emerging markets into the world of derivatives. Through its regular conferences the AFM links representatives of a wide array of different professional organizations providing them with networking opportunities beneficial for all.
I begin my tenure as the Chairman of AFM at the time when the Association, through ongoing efforts of previous Chairmen, Secretariat and all members, acquired recognition and enjoyed attention from many well-known exchanges, regulators and media.
The AFM's 6th Annual Conference in Moscow gave strong impetus to further development of Russian derivatives market. I firmly believe in AFM's success and as an Chairman of the Association will do my best to make sure the AFM reaches its goals. I would also rely on the Association members's assistance in this important matter.

CMS Webview to roll out ProphetX across Europe
AFX
It has won sole rights to sell and support energy and commodity price display system
CMS WebView PLC said it has won the sole rights to sell and support ProphetX, the market price display system for energy and commodity traders, in mainland Europe.
CMS's agreement with US firm DTN Market Access, owner of ProphetX, extends the exclusive rights CMS has to market ProphetX in the UK.
Since last summer, when CMS began marketing ProphetX in the UK, it has successfully sold the service to over 20 corporate clients.
CMS said it is now actively recruiting a network of agents to handle the increased sales activity. CMS has begun preliminary discussions with several possible agents and plans to have them operating initially in the major European commodity trading centres.
It is anticipated that initial agreements will be in place by the end of the first quarter. Until then, CMS's London office will handle European sales.
ProphetX is a real-time market display and analysis product for commodity traders.
Its shares rose 6% to 13.25p.

From the Wall Street & Tech news: top story:
CMS WebView, a London-based market-data vendor, has claimed sole rights in mainland Europe to sell and support ProphetX, a market-price display system for energy and commodity traders. The agreement was made with DTN Market Access, the Omaha-based owner of ProphetX. CMS has not yet recruited sales agents to push the product throughout Europe.

AT77,
It failed to mention the fact initial sales would be handled by their London offices and give enough lead time for recruiting agents to cope with the onslaught of orders for ProphetX throughout Europe. I look forward to ProfitXXXXXX???? and blue on the bid throughout 2004.

Tend to agree stephen.
Slightly disappointed that we cant hold gains on the back of good news, but again these are smaller ticket sales. (Although they do seem to be accumulating!)
I will top up if price drifts any lower, as I am more than happy to take the long view with this one.

Point and figure ( 5,3 log high-low ) showing an impending breakout. Lower highs with running ( equal) lows. If 12.5 holds and we make some slight gains over the next few days, could get quite exciting. However if 11.75p gives way then it down.

Cms WebView has been trading sideways since November, the mm's sold too many
shares (ie short) since then they have fought to keep the price down in the
hope that they could buy some stock and try to balance the books. Results in
April? will show cms in profit and put some flesh on the bones regarding the
the sales of ProphetX. Hopefuly there will be some quick contracts with
existing customers that are based in Europe.
Cms have said that the European market for ProphetX is around 200m and at the
fee of 200 pm per terminal it is very affordable with 20 plus clients and
private trader sales we are still in the dark about actual numbers, all will be
reveald soon CMS will become a growth company about to take on Reuters (lol).
