Morning all
Lovely morning here! no FEB for me today something light and fruity is the order of the day followed by possibly two cups of coffee, then sit around a while and decide what to do first.

daves dazzlers - 01 Sep 2004 08:36 - 12795 of 23498

morning mistic, what can you see today?

optomistic - 01 Sep 2004 08:42 - 12796 of 23498

Not far into the distance DD (unfortunately) would be happy to see some blue show in one or two of my 'quieter' holdings. Are you making 'owt' (Yorkshire for anything)?

amberjane - 01 Sep 2004 10:32 - 12797 of 23498

Nice blue and green day for me, just how i like it! Not one red in sight ...yet. Maybe, just maybe, my trading is improving, and so on that note I will take my crunchy nuts to slurp over out in the sun!

stockbunny - 01 Sep 2004 11:11 - 12798 of 23498

Morning from a tired out bunny having been shopping with number two son
for the usual essentials before he embarks on the new school year tomorrow.

Needless to say I am now broke following the purchases of various footwear,
thankfully I was saved the blazer, shirts, trousers routine as we tackled
those a couple of months back, along with the endless PE kit!
(where do these schools get off? Not just black shorts, oh no, but ones with
specifically their logo on and so it goes on - it's a rip off!!!)

I'll join Amber out in the sun with a cup of tea, and lament the current
slide a-la-Matalan!

optomistic - 01 Sep 2004 13:11 - 12799 of 23498

You two lucky girls able to take your refreshments out in the sun, mine has been a busy morning inside fitting plaster boards. I can just imagine the comments...you shouln't be cutting that stuff in here, on the carpet as well and in the computer room just look at the mess!!! anyway I have relented and hoovered up and I'm going to put a sheet down this afternoon. Must have a look at the prices now. Hope MTN pulls back for you Bunny.

optomistic - 01 Sep 2004 13:35 - 12800 of 23498

Ah well, back to work. Will call in for a pot of tea later

stockbunny - 01 Sep 2004 14:34 - 12801 of 23498

Don't work too hard Opto and we'll have your tea standing by for you
when you return and yes, Opto, put a sheet down on the floor first, saves
a lot of general ear-ache LOL

MTN not looking so bad but room for extreme improvement
just about covers that, HTG suffering profit taking (what a surprise - not!)
and VOD..well...doing basically nothing to be honest! lol

Poochy - you didn't even notice I defrosted your fridge behind the bar!
I'm hurt...last time I spend 2 hours getting your hairs out of the
ice-cube tray!! ;>)

chocolat - 01 Sep 2004 14:46 - 12802 of 23498

Who mentioned plasterboard? I've only gone and got another hole in the ceiling as of this morning..

stockbunny - 01 Sep 2004 14:53 - 12803 of 23498

Dare I ask how you have gained another hole in your ceiling this morning?
;>)

amberjane - 01 Sep 2004 14:59 - 12804 of 23498

You just want the men back to fix it Choccy!

Socrates - 01 Sep 2004 16:42 - 12805 of 23498

Hello folks, what a day? One of my old shares SVB does a nose dive, very upsetting. Too bad, it'll come back eventually.

Get the kettle on, time for tea.

optomistic - 01 Sep 2004 16:44 - 12806 of 23498

Choccy is keeping quiet about that hole in the ceiling

Priscilla - 01 Sep 2004 16:50 - 12807 of 23498

Poor Socks! It did take a nasty hit, didn't it? Have a gingernut with your tea. I'll join you.

Hmm. Another hole in the ceiling suggests Choocy has been overdoing the Chocolate Martinis recently.

Chocolate Martini

Ice
2 fluid ounces chocolate liqueur
1 1/2 fluid ounces vodka
1/2 ounce grated chocolate

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the chocolate liqueur and vodka to the shaker. Shake briskly to mix and chill. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the chocolate.

Makes 1 Serving.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Socrates - 01 Sep 2004 17:07 - 12808 of 23498

Priscilla
Holes in ceilings, champagne corks?

chocolat - 01 Sep 2004 19:52 - 12809 of 23498

Hmm...the best I can come up with is plastered chocolate.
