Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

where do you get the statment?

prepared - 09 Nov 2003 14:56 - 129 of 3104

Like I said before don't worry about the dips due to profit taking. This company is sound (it would not attract institutional investors if it wasn't)and has fantastic potential. All my investment money is in this share because I've looked around and cannot find a better place for it. All IMHO of course and DYOR. If they use the 5 million raised to keep on expanding and winning contracts then in six months time the price could be 30p - 50p. As you say ckmtang...fingers crossed!

ckmtang

On this thread posts 96 and 98 7th November.

It mentions the placing being oversubscribed which is great because the institutions that didn't get any will still want to get in.

Also try looking at www.advfn.com free BB. There is a much more ative cyh thread on there. Look back through the posts on advfn and you will learn a lot more about cyh.

it sounds so good, and hopefully it really rise to 10p before xmas and 30 to 50p in 6 months time/

chrissie - 09 Nov 2003 17:17 - 133 of 3104

After extensive research last week I bought into CYH (300,000 shares). That was before the placing announcement. Now, I am even more sure that I've done the right thing. As prepared said these boys don't just jump into any old company, they need a good return for themselves and their clients. Good luck to all of us and dyor.

Talkpanerai - 10 Nov 2003 10:41 - 134 of 3104

It doesn't seem to be even getting closer to the 4.00p mark today.

Nitefly - 10 Nov 2003 11:15 - 135 of 3104

Hmmmm, more buys than sells and it's going down... looks like the MM's are trying to shake traders for shares before a big rise! Perhaps they want a nice block to sell for the 14th :P

Best of luck all

chrissie - 10 Nov 2003 17:24 - 136 of 3104

This is just some profit taking and T traders who cannot afford to buy, leaving the stock. Don't worry about the day to day trading, this is a winner. There was a few lines in the Times yesterday, just reporting the placement also they said that the results out at the end of this month. So not really sure now when to expect them, last year it was the 14th. What I am sure about is that IMHO the results will be good and the share price will break 6p at least in the next 3 weeks.

I think the old saying - Patiance is a virtue - is very apt at the moment

ajren - 10 Nov 2003 17:50 - 138 of 3104

I agree.

snowballroller - 10 Nov 2003 17:50 - 139 of 3104

hi,guys,
wishful thinking !!! don`t fall in love with a STOCK! 9 months ago,i fell for
a ugly duckling called OMH,i put 90% of my funds into it & day dreaming that in
2-3 years,it can change into a beautiful swan ,i can make 1/2 million and an easier life then! but now, then :-(

ajren - 10 Nov 2003 17:55 - 140 of 3104

What do you think of the share ?

snowballroller - 10 Nov 2003 18:15 - 141 of 3104

ajren,
It can be a beautiful swan, but for god`s sake, don`t fall for it !!
I suggest 1/4 of your trading fund is the maxium for "her" as you like her that much, if you are right, says the price double quickly, then get your original stake back, JUST let the profit runs, wait for a draw back, then dip toes again. Run the profits! Again & aaaagain! Happy ending For ALL.

little woman - 10 Nov 2003 18:38 - 142 of 3104

Snowballroller - you're talking to Miss conservative investor here! OMH - Checked out the fundamentals, web site, news, etc. etc. and dismissed it as a company waiting to go bust-only kept going by the existing directors constantly bailing it out.

And CYH well only about 2% of my portfolio went there. (and that was only after talking to people who were involved with potential customers & taking a look at the fundamentals, web site, news etc. etc.)

I have to admit only 5% of my portfolio is for what I consider high risk - forget 25% - Life is too short but retirement is not!

ajren - 10 Nov 2003 18:53 - 143 of 3104

Last week you said double figures ???

little woman - 10 Nov 2003 18:57 - 144 of 3104

well, we can all dream!

ajren - 10 Nov 2003 19:07 - 145 of 3104

Nov 7

.........went back in at just about lowest, with the same number I sold

little woman - 11 Nov 2003 11:49 - 146 of 3104

This explains a lot: Profit taken 1,267,000 - should help reduce thier losses!

On Friday 7th November Trafficmaster Plc ('Trafficmaster') sold a holding of
56,250,000 shares in Cybit Holdings PLC ('Cybit') for a cash consideration of
1,687,500. These shares had been held at a carrying value of 420,000.

Trafficmaster continues to hold warrants for a further 67,017,435 shares in
Cybit, which can be exercised in two stages. The first tranche can be exercised
at a price of 4.5p before 31st December 2004, and the next tranche at 6.5p
before 31st December 2006.

Trafficmaster has a strong strategic partnership with Cybit under which it
provides a range of products and services, including hosting services and the
provision of telematics hardware.
