Sorry guys - but bought into VOG yesterday - only a small amount - but up 75% today - worth a look.

Shares mag carries a letter berating it for passing on shorters' comments on SEO. I still have been unable to get anything out of SEO on the availability of Mondini machines. Bearing in mind IB reckoned that these were 'low-hanging fruit' profit for SEO that seems surprising.
Anyone who missed out on VOG - me included - but who wants an oil/gas play, CHP is still way too cheap on current assets and a much more significant series of deals are imminently awaited.

bhunt1910 - 17 Nov 2005 16:50 - 12854 of 27111

SEO nice and steady today. Although I did not like the 1.2 m sells in the last 30 mins - but the price seemed to stay steady.

Hopefully we now have a bit of a stable base on which to build.

Lets hope that the close statement when it comes (over next 3-4 weeks) contains some positive news

M4rt - CGT is calculated from 06/04 one year to 05/04 the next. Charged upon taxable gains after taking into consideration costs and reliefs (usualy apply only to business), any investment losses in the tax year and the annual exempt amount (AEA) 2005-6 8.5K. The rules on CGT can change from year to year but it you want more info have a look at the HM Revenue & Customs site below.

1.79% gain today at close!!! Who said the was going to fall today..

hewittalan6 - 17 Nov 2005 19:54 - 12859 of 27111

If he comes on again, ask him top do his famous comparison between this pathetic share and his world beating tip, SPO. That would be fun.

garbyle , +12% on a million.

blinger - 17 Nov 2005 20:15 - 12861 of 27111

If you pay CGT on share gains you are off your head, get an expert and pay him,
oh around 15k a year, set up some offshore trusts, and only bring the money onshore for " friends and family BENEFICIARIES"- mind if you only have 8k invested and are thinking of a +40% increase a year ,and punting full time- get sectioned its cheaper

Explosive -ROTFFLMFAO!!!!!!!!

blinger - 17 Nov 2005 20:19 - 12862 of 27111

insiderinside - 18 Nov 2005 02:56 - 12863 of 27111

the sell volume building - as i said - IMO - i hear - the Starpol trials with Greenseal - are not good - people getting out - and soon a large fall -

All IMO - DYOR

The two derampers talking to each other.

tweenie - 18 Nov 2005 09:23 - 12865 of 27111

as per usual they fail to name from whom or where they 'heard' this groundbreaking info.
One can therefore only assume it's 'voices in their heads'.
This would explain a lot.
'Bonkers and nutterinside' the deramping duo, I salute you.
keep taking the pills.

bhunt1910 - 18 Nov 2005 09:37 - 12866 of 27111

Have you noticed that every time Bonkers and Nutters - (I like that) espouse their expertise - the sp reacts positively.

Maybe thats the answer - wait for comment from them - then invest

I recently found the SQUELCH button and did the business. I really enjoy reading the old (not in age of course) regular posters who make sense. I don't need a daily dose of depression which seems to appear every day now. They have been buried.
Of course things don't always go as one would like, thats trading, and half the fun. Constructive advice and thoughts are good - Nutters and Bonkers !!!!! I like that.

hewittalan6 - 18 Nov 2005 10:23 - 12868 of 27111

Don't like insulting people, but leave ii alone. Every circus needs its clowns.

On a serious note, trades appear to be overwhelmingly sells on a low volume but Level 2 seems to indicate the next price movement may be up a tad. Unless I am reading it wrong (eminantly plausible) this looks very odd to me. Any thoughts, anyone?
Alan

bhunt1910 - 18 Nov 2005 11:12 - 12869 of 27111

Alan - I had the same observation

Niave question - does that not mean that there is someone in the wings buying up all the sells - which is what is keeping the price stable - despite the amount of selling?

Baza

hewittalan6 - 18 Nov 2005 15:42 - 12870 of 27111

I must be reading Level 2 all wrong. Each time it indicates the next movement will be down, it goes up, and vice versa.
Oh well. Back to being blonde and stupid.
Alan

greekman - 18 Nov 2005 15:52 - 12871 of 27111

Baza,

Thats my thought, although the market in general is in a bouyant mood today,
It does indicate a buyer in the wings accumalating, but with this share the movement sometimes boggles the mind.
