Pursuit Dynamics - A British success story in the making? (PDX)

Andy - 31 Aug 2003 11:58

Pursuit Dynamics plc is a UK based research and development company, which was founded in 2000 to develop and commercialise a revolutionary pumping and propulsion technology. Pursuit Dynamics (symbol: PDX) was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 2001.

PDX 25 Sonic.

The PDX Technology is a steam-based system that has applications in both pumping and marine propulsion. It is cheap to manufacture, extremely robust, contains no moving parts and is virtually impossible to block. Pursuit Dynamics owns 100% of the Intellectual Property Rights that surround the PDX Technology.

Pursuit Dynamics is now working towards the commercialisation of the technology it has developed.

Pursuit are rumoured to be close to closing their first deals, which may be in the food processing industry.

Gausie,

Agreed, any confirmation of a significant contract could send PDX soaring, especially if they are able to include in said contract royalty payments based on the savings to the purchaser.

The first deal will more than likely set the benchmark for future deals, and therefore may be a little delayed in coming, but the wait may well be worth it!

I,m going to try and post actual pictures of the pump from my last article, but
what format is acceptable? (JIF, TIFF etc.) and what size in pixels? Anybody know?

News of the trials with a confectionery manufacturer should be out sometime after 4th Mar, later this week. If the news is possitive with a licence and royalty agreement signed then we should see the patience of share holders very well rewarded.

Pushed to a new 3-month high today. Hopefully there will be news to take it higher later this week.

a director has said a deal has been signed, but no clue of the terms of the deal

I know we are all getting a little impatient but where did you hear that one?

I am in "dynamic pursuit" of a quadruple bagger (my first)!

Legins - 03 Mar 2004 09:54 - 137 of 1003

ssanebs.

Did the director say which company the deal was signed with?

Oakapples142 - 04 Mar 2004 13:45 - 138 of 1003

What do we make of outcome of trial delayed by joint agreement until 30 April.

Price has dived in past 10 mins but with little volume.

Legins - 04 Mar 2004 14:02 - 139 of 1003

This bit of news is that there is now a deal the confectionery manufacturer wants to make and are prepared to pay another 30K for the priviledge of maintaining the exclusivity of it. The deal must be huge!

Great news, but why the sudden drop in price is now down to the MM's opportunity to do some tree shaking! Take no notice and don't let the MM's grind our share price down. Plenty of value in this! Now down fast even now as I type. MM's must be desparate for it!

Legins - 04 Mar 2004 14:23 - 140 of 1003

Going back up again now, have the MM's had a sudden 5 minutes jerk before they realised the significance of the news!

dclinton - 04 Mar 2004 19:34 - 141 of 1003

I expect the market had been expecting more definite news today and the announcement, which was really 'no-news' led some to sell pending any real news.

here is the text in full.
-----------------------------

LONDON (AFX) - Pursuit Dynamics PLC said the unnamed confectionery and soft
drinks manufacturer with which it signed a contract permitting the trial use of
its PDX technology, had asked for the testing period to be extended until the
end of next month.
PDX is a pump which can be used to transport fluids with high solids
content.
In November, Pursuit said the trials, for which the confectionery company is
paying 15,000 stg per month, were scheduled to be completed by the end of 2003.

-------------------------------

My take on this is cautiously positive, based on the fact that the trial is continuing, and, they haven't walked away.

I don't think it's clear if they are continuing to pay the 15,000 per month trial fee, but this isn't important, IMHO.

It does look as though a deal is a strong possibility, as the exclusivety has been preserved, so now it's down to trying to broker an agreement that will allow PDX to convince the market they have a viable product.

ssanebs - 04 Mar 2004 21:53 - 143 of 1003

the deal has been signed but due to the directors of cdy being away they could not announce the deal, but had to make a statement as the trials ended today. the directors are back next week so look forward to the full terms which i have not been told. the statement says trials have ended but they now have exclusivity, so time to announce the deal, without pdx going to another food or drink company.

jgeary - 04 Mar 2004 22:24 - 144 of 1003

This suggests a new application for PDX technology and gives valuable (& free)PR.
