What's the point in being sad? There is more than enough sad in the world without me adding to it.

chocolat - 03 Sep 2004 17:00 - 12909 of 23498

Oh righto bunny - good ol' CNE, eh what..

chocolat - 03 Sep 2004 17:02 - 12910 of 23498

Pass us a spoon then, Socks.

Socrates - 03 Sep 2004 17:06 - 12911 of 23498

That would be a solid silver gilded desert spoon I take it, just the thing for some special reserve sherry trifle.

OK, so who's going to be up and about early tomorrow? Her indoors is of to the smoke and I will be left to my evil doings all alone, apart from the moggy that is.

optomistic - 03 Sep 2004 17:09 - 12912 of 23498

What on the evening menu (do we have one?) it has to be a healthy one today I am told.....too much protein already :-((
is sherry trifle on the good list. I would be happy with 3 pints of Guiness and a large portion of sherry trifle :-)) please say thats OK

stockbunny - 03 Sep 2004 17:11 - 12913 of 23498

The rate you have been working today Opto I think it is :>)

I've got some real good Moussaka brewing away, will that do? Plenty of ST to follow. This batch is a bit different because the cook ran out of sherry but said "would Napoleon Brandy do instead?". I reluctantly agreed it might just be acceptable and ordered another lorry load.

optomistic - 03 Sep 2004 17:16 - 12915 of 23498

Now I'm really happy, start on that Guiness right away :-)))))

stockbunny - 03 Sep 2004 17:17 - 12916 of 23498

I hope that brandy is in the trifle and not in the moussaka Socs!
Under pressure to get off the computer - have a good weekend all!

Gausie - 03 Sep 2004 17:18 - 12917 of 23498

have a good weekend all

I never thought of that! Next batch of Moose Aka I make I'll slop a bit of brandy in and see what it's like. Might set a trend.

optomistic - 03 Sep 2004 17:19 - 12919 of 23498

Socco that Nap Brandy seems a fair substitute. Wonder what Bunny has to say about the mousaaka it sounds great to me.

chocolat - 03 Sep 2004 17:25 - 12920 of 23498

Can't make a decent casseroley thingy without some copious wine/port dregs..

Socrates - 03 Sep 2004 17:50 - 12921 of 23498

Copious, on a Friday? I'll bet Copious was one of those that stabbed Caesar. With his mate Spacious, I'd give him plenty of room.

chocolat - 03 Sep 2004 17:54 - 12922 of 23498

I thought it was a Tuesday, Socks?

Socrates - 03 Sep 2004 18:51 - 12923 of 23498

chocolat
No, it's definitely Friday. It's the bank holiday that's thrown you off.

Socrates - 04 Sep 2004 07:48 - 12924 of 23498

Good morning anyone and everyone. Here I am with a complete heart attack on a plate AKA a full English breakfast. Lovely, yummy and very satisfying.

Just taken her-indoors to to the bus station for her day out in the smoke, so I shall be lazing about and doing important things like surfing the net and drinking lots of tea.

jj50 - 04 Sep 2004 08:09 - 12925 of 23498

Morning Socs. Enjoy the "heart attack on a plate"! Sounds like the morning won't be too stressful which is as well with all that cholestorol on board!

I am off to do school run then trolley race then home. Catch you later

chocolat - 04 Sep 2004 11:06 - 12926 of 23498
