CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

thestatusquo - 13 Feb 2004 16:18 - 1292 of 1924

I'm a buyer anywhere here up to 15 pence. If any drift lower Monday/Tues, I will buy more.

momentum - 15 Feb 2004 17:59 - 1293 of 1924

Point and figure ( 5,3 log high-low ) showing an impending breakout. Lower highs with running ( equal) lows. If 12.5 holds and we make some slight gains over the next few days, could get quite exciting. However if 11.75p gives way then it down.

Cms WebView has been trading sideways since November, the mm's sold too many
shares (ie short) since then they have fought to keep the price down in the
hope that they could buy some stock and try to balance the books. Results in
April? will show cms in profit and put some flesh on the bones regarding the
the sales of ProphetX. Hopefuly there will be some quick contracts with
existing customers that are based in Europe.

Cms have said that the European market for ProphetX is around 200m and at the
fee of 200 pm per terminal it is very affordable with 20 plus clients and
private trader sales we are still in the dark about actual numbers, all will be
reveald soon CMS will become a growth company about to take on Reuters (lol).

momentum - 21 Feb 2004 08:39 - 1295 of 1924

Results should be mid march?

thestatusquo - 21 Feb 2004 20:17 - 1296 of 1924

Last years finals were announced in May, although I'm expecting they will be announced earlier this year.

momentum - 22 Feb 2004 08:19 - 1297 of 1924

Intrim results announced 19/9/03. Would expect finals to be announced mid to late march (6months). Pushing them out to May again would be a little negative,as this is what the market is waiting for.Plus it would nice to have another major contract as its been nearly 12 months since the last one.

bellsys - 22 Feb 2004 14:30 - 1298 of 1924

Finals will be delivered on time, as said before the results will not be startling, they have not won any new tdi contacts up to 31:12:03 so from the Chairmans mouth - The timing of such new sales will therefore have an impact on the end of year results - which everyone knows about already - so if the accounts do not show any significat improvement on03, then its news we are looking for - I hope an announcement will be made as part of the outlook section that will give this company the boost it needs, cos it wont be coming from the results. All IMHO

thestatusquo - 22 Feb 2004 15:32 - 1299 of 1924

bellsys,

Whilst I respect your opinion, I believe the next set of accounts will be crucially important to any serious long term investor in this company.

They should indicate the balance sheet strength after the recent fundraising, as well as how that money is being invested in the companys' infrastructure, ie sales, marketing, advertising, R&D spending etc. Turnover increased and losses narrowed hugely before the fundraising.

Institutions came on board at 10pence. They want a return on their money and I can tell you one thing for sure, they want a lot more than 12pence before they start selling down their venture capital stakes!!

I am a confident medium-long term holder, and expect this company to be profitable and able to increase profits year-on-year for the foreseeable future.

bellsys - 22 Feb 2004 17:40 - 1300 of 1924

I agree with what you are saying tsq but the point I am making is there will be no changes in the accounts in terms of increased sales or profits - well nothing considerable as there were no new tdi contacts in the last 6 months to 31:12:03 - yes the BS has been considerably strengthened by a fund raising, yes there US drive is great news, yes their european distribution rights are good news - all great stuff - I was merely highlighting the fact to people that this company has "future" potential - the historical results will not show this IMO - the outlook statement is the only clue we will get.

thestatusquo - 23 Feb 2004 16:17 - 1301 of 1924

Point taken bellsys. I also look forward to that outlook statement.

Overman - 24 Feb 2004 01:30 - 1302 of 1924

If this stays blue tomorrow...we might be heading for another attempt of breaking out its current trading range.
Once this current 12-15p trading range is broken through...next stop would be 22p

Great company with massive medium-long term potential...a must in any porfolio
The next RNS can't be too far away and am happy patiently holding and adding in dips ;)

IMHO

Does anyone know if suehelen has any interest in this stock anymore, or has she/he sold out back when she/he stopped posting?

skyhigh - 26 Feb 2004 12:44 - 1304 of 1924

Excuse my ignorance but can someone explain what IMHO means ?

Whatever it means, I agree that CWS is a great company, should do well over the year. I hope so, as I went in at 12.75p a month ago.. just waiting for the fireworks to begin !? :) (also I hope it's not just a damp squib!)

RLANE - 26 Feb 2004 15:09 - 1305 of 1924

Littlejon,

IMHO = in my humble opinion,

skyhigh - 26 Feb 2004 15:17 - 1306 of 1924

Thanks for that..

Sue Helen has become Optimist23 and is currently posting on the AFG thread on
ADVFN freeBB.

SueHelen - 26 Feb 2004 21:20 - 1308 of 1924

Hi everyone,

I am stil here, will be accumalating towards middle of March. There is not much happening to the share price hence the lack of postings. Lots of the shares have been moving quite well in the last month or so hence... Most of the news I was expecting has come through now except for the TDI contracts. For which, I am very surprised that none have been announced yet.

Fingers crossed, some will be announced very soon.

Will be posting again nearer to their results.

Best Wishes,

Sue.

skyhigh - 27 Feb 2004 08:36 - 1309 of 1924

Any indication/prediction of when the results will be put out ? - thanks

Last year was end of May, I think

SueHelen - 27 Feb 2004 09:13 - 1310 of 1924

Middle to end of March I think.

Managed a bit of topping up this morning at 11.74p. These get tucked away for the medium to long term. For those getting bored waiting there will be news out soon.
