Bloody horses have got many into trouble. Haven't had a bet for over 5 yrs. but HT did sound very up for those two, I'd have had 20 if I'd been able.
How did they both run, was it wet for the outsider as HT did specify that.
Also, I understand the 2nd race [2nd] was pretty close to what he forecaste, how close was the finish. Good try HT.
Tip from me...prm
Lovely day here, mrs.lw on golf course, tarts day so she'll be back hungry at about 6pm. I'm off to the supermarket as I'm doing a Thai lamb & coconut curry for dinner tonight, we'll eat it outside on the patio[ on plates] and wash it all down with some just released new season sauvignon blanc....
Understand yesterday was bank holiday, hope you all had a good 'un...lw

Socs,
I too have one of those ultra low maintenance gardens ......... it involves getting a gardener to maintain it. Shame about the hay fever ...... you've presumably never experienced "red cheek syndrome" then?
Saint Willie,
Don't forget the cushions as well as the plates if you're going to eat off the patio. You wouldn't want to graze your knees.

I know all about red cheek syndrome, one assumes one is referring to facial cheeks! I have done a few overseas trips in my RAF days where red knees were all the rage.
How's the trading going, are you still shorting or have you joined the mad rush for the bull?

You are kidding aren't you? I'm still holding Bulmers, it's creeping up 1p to 2p per day, I shall be reaching for the lifebelt very soon.
Incidentally, WGG which I know you love to visit if only to take the michael out of the holders, is active once again. Good volume, price up a respectable percentage two days running. May only be MMs taking advantage but good fun to watch.

hello socks....I see the gorgeous Nick has been tickling the share price again! Didn't have a chance to call him, but if I do I will ask him for a clue as to the impressive rise!

No smutty talk of good rises on here please Socs!! This is a financial bulletin board.
Btw, well done with your glass of Scrumpy. I'll maybe pay a visit to your friends the Wiggies ......... I'm sure they'll all be pleased to see me again ......... especially Ace Dipstick Tommy10.
edit: I don't do tips, but if I were to, I'd suggest that you filled your Y-fronts with some quality housebuilder shares for a swing trade on the bull tack. BKL and BWY spring to mind. Imo, of course.

I don't do tips either so you just keep your hand off my good rise! You must be out of touch, Tommy10 is long gone although he did resurrect himself as Whitie2. Now even he seems to have vanished although there are some who think he is back under a different guise.
I have held Redrow for a number of years and it's well into profit. Turned out to be one of my best investments, not a trade, bought when it floated about the time Pontious was an air cadet. Nice little dividend to help keep the wolf from the door too.
