i have been relaxing - holiday - no need to check on SE0 - as i indicated from my contacts - starpol and GS trials are not going well - GS is still trickling along - sad how reality is often very different to ramp and hype - sub 10p - could be very soon
no real revenues - more losses - court case pending - should correct down very soon - no matter how the rampers try to ramp people in - approvals - trails - tests - its all rubbish ramping - sales is what matters - orders - money - profit - not jam tomorrow - SE0 might have lots of approved products - so have many companies as they went bankrupt - where are the profits - sales - cash burn rate is how high - risk cover on court case worst case - ????????????????????????????????
All IMO - DYOR !!

This is my first posting here - hellooooooo
I had been watching this stock since June-ish with the SP at about 22p, but having had my fingers burn't once before I was being my usual (over?) cautious self (better to miss out on a little on the way up, than lose everything on the way down) - and boy, am I glad I did.
At first glance this seems like a wonder stock, but if you dig a little deeper than the sugar coating it looks like a pile of old pants (thats a technical term BTW!).
I started getting a bit suspicious when reading press comments about Stanelco's change of direction & "rapidly becoming an expert in green packaging solutions" - I mean come on - there are dozens of companies been at this for years - SEO just pop up out the blue & are suddenly "experts" overnight, with greater potential than all of the old timers. Doesn't sound likely, does it? It sounds more like spin.
The even more suspect news now, is how the greenseal packaging trials are a few months behind schedule - not because it doesn't work properly, but because they can't get hold of enough old machines to cover for the packing companies while they convert their machines to the RF sealing technology - Hmmm. Thats at least bad planning on the SEO management front - they can't even plan to get through the trials, without which they have no business. Alternatively, it's just stretching it as far as it'll go before having to admit it isn't going to happen.
The icing for me was the news of the ciggy filter technology that they're going to sell, which "could be worth 100 million" - if only it wasn't for the fact that the technology is only hypothetical, & requires another $5 - $10 million investment to come up with an actual product (see the seo website & under "press releases", the lop sided scan of the news clipping - classy).
Sounds like spin, spin, spin to me - IMHO it has nothing behind it but hopes, dreams, and lies - and it's going to come crashing all the way back down to next to nothing - at which point it'll probably go bust & become actually nothing. The CEO must have similar thoughts - he apparently took an option to buy 1 million shares, then promptly sold them all. Doesn't sound encouraging really?
The Madness of Crowds.

Anyone read this from a packaging mag:
LIGHTNING Packaging Supplies will be exclusively distributing Bio- Cello' biodegradable air pillows in the new year.
The cushioning and void fill pillows, made by FP International and 100% starch-based, use Starpol film from Stanelco. If left in the correct conditions, they are compostable within 60 days.
The pillows are available sized 200mmx200mm and 130mmx200mm and certified to EN13432 and DIN Certo.
Declan Hughes of LPS says the pillows inflate on existing equipment and provide a cost effective solution to landfill disposal.
Also new are Cool Packs and Gel-340. Cool Packs keep goods at a consistent temperature for at least 48 hours when used in conjunction with the frozen Gel-340 sachets.

My copy of that hasn't arrived yet. ;-)
Good find Baza. Just proves that, contrary to the bashers assumptions, all deals are not the subject of an RNS and, like all shares, we are left guessing what may be going on behind the scenes.
Their guess is, of course, as valid as anyones, but I do wish that rampers and bashers alike would stick to the known facts and not speculation of "it must be going well / badly because of no news".

Called into ASDA's last night, noticed the differance to the packs for fresh
salmon. Whereas before it was black trays, they are now white.
Could this be Starpol?

In the mood for a bit of research myself this morning. I was taken by ii's graph above and found myself wondering how my perception of a fairly static SP was so different to the "facts" of the graph. So I checked a previous one from ii, as he loves them so much and compared the two.
In post 12548 the horizontal lines represent 3p each on the SP, on post 12949 they represent 1p each on the SP. In post 12548 the vertical lines do not correspond to any particular timescale, they are arbitary, and on the one above they are fortnightly. Finally, the total timescale is very different.
Now far be it from me to suggest a manipulation of the data here, but I suspect that if the configuration applied to post 12548 were applied above, we would see a horizontal channel emerging, suggesting a bottoming out, but I am not technically able to make that graph and post it. In any case, to all newbies to this thread, I would not take the graphs at face value, unless ii can give a reasoned explanation for why he should have made those changes. I, however, have no wish to enter into any kind of dialougue with him.

Wonder why no news of ASDA's 30 day exclusivity deal, looked back can find no
referance to the start date of the trial?

Perhaps they have learnt that putting out an RNS every week is not the way to take this share in the long term as it creates too much volatility. Someone did comment on this a while back that he had had a conversation with someone at SEO and that they were going to be more selective with the RNS's that they issued. - I think that meant tightening up on the definition of price sensitive information. Obviously a deal wit xyz has to be reported - but the conversion of z machines may no longer be interpreted as such in their eyes. Just a thought.
So when we do get an RNS - expect it to be a blockbuster IMHO

Hello chaps!
Hope some of you took up my tip on Bioprogress when I told you it would double a couple of weeks ago, still plenty to go there imo.
Taking another look here again, next week may be interesting; not in yet but will post up when I am.

Thats exactly what I heard Baza-HW seems to have realised that putting out an RNS every bloody week is crap for the sp and investors confidence in the longterm.
Nice call with Bioprogress too lads!

Credit where credits due. Excellent call on BPRG, Sham. Just wish I had it for real and not just part of my CI investment. 8-(

ii's charts are not only inconsistent with the scale lines as you say but the dates lines too. Prices change from a monday to a tuesday.

User name is hewittalan6. Currently just out of the top 50, despite my best efforts to lose it all quicker that jimmyb!!
Same as you, mate, I need that blockbuster RNS from SEO, but PP05 may as well take his winnings now.

Baza,
Heard the same re RNS releases. Also as we know the LSE has tightened up the rules somewhat.
