How did you speak to the doctor's surgery if you had lost your voice?

jeffmack - 06 Sep 2004 10:18 - 12970 of 23498

Good morning one and all. I've left you all a Cyprus key ring behind the bar. Will catch up with postings later.

Fundamentalist - 06 Sep 2004 10:29 - 12971 of 23498

Hi Jeff

Good to see you are back - hope you had a good time

(thanks for the keyring)

hilary - 06 Sep 2004 10:32 - 12972 of 23498

Yes welcome home, Jeffie. Hope you had a good time. How's the tackle? Did you use your rod while you were away?

amberjane - 06 Sep 2004 10:57 - 12973 of 23498

Hi Hils, could you stop checking his tackle for a mo, ta.. PDL dropped a bit after we spoke and I nearly sold...but now a little tick up so is something brewing only I wondered if you could have another little word as he's such a peach!

Sorry, Morning one and all!

daves dazzlers - 06 Sep 2004 11:07 - 12974 of 23498

cheers maccer for the key ring, hilary yes i did caught some great fish,,a leadhead & eddystone eel was the order of the day, some great bass up to 3 pound, called in a fresh fish shop,to see how much they sold the bass for 13.00 a pound, you can go to tesco`s , and get the farmed stuff cheap, about 5.00 a pound, and there`s not to many bones . great for the barbie, hay ken.

STORMCALLER - 06 Sep 2004 11:26 - 12975 of 23498

Kayak,
It's not my voice, which is soft and lyrical, rather than this 2 syllables lost out of 5, angry bullfrog affair I seem to have borrowed.
jeffmack,
Welcome back, I trust you didn't suffer too much with all that wonderful weather, cheap booze, and generally having a good time.

stockbunny - 06 Sep 2004 11:29 - 12976 of 23498

Morning All!
Stormy - ah you poor thing, a sore throat/lost voice.....Hope you feel
better soon. I can understand, I can lose my voice sometimes (much to my
two sons amusement) but don't worry Stormy, what you can't say, you can
graphically convey with a few well-targeted airborne paper balls!

I'm not sure if I want to know about Hilary checking JeffMack's fishing equipment...LOL
;>)

Ok danish, orange juice and a bowl of meusli today for me..

daves dazzlers - 06 Sep 2004 11:33 - 12977 of 23498

its my equipment she wants a butchers at bunny , she `s got a smile on her face,,i thing its my jewllyworm she like`s .

stockbunny - 06 Sep 2004 11:36 - 12978 of 23498

David...Time to go to MTN I think, before you over-heat ;>)

daves dazzlers - 06 Sep 2004 11:46 - 12979 of 23498

bunny as if!!!!!!!!right i am going.

hilary - 06 Sep 2004 11:48 - 12980 of 23498

If it's all the same, I'd really rather not look at anyone's equipment. Jeffie had said before he went on hols that he was taking his tackle and I was just wondering if he'd got his rod out whilst he was away.

:o)

Amber,

I'd guess that the recent price action has been more to do with the trades than leaked news. Why don't you ring Adonis anyway though? He won't bite ..... I promise. Ask him about Alto Cuilo and the jv. Tell him you're a large holder (tell him that you hold in a nominee a/c) and that you've been disappointed with the recent price action and would like to know about forthcoming newsflow. They are due to report on drilling and bulk sampling soon for Alto C from the last rns ..... ask him when that will be.

STORMCALLER - 06 Sep 2004 11:57 - 12981 of 23498

stockbunny,
Thank you for those kind thoughts, it is such a rare privilege for me to find you here, beginning to think you were avoiding me.....lol

stockbunny - 06 Sep 2004 12:18 - 12982 of 23498

Of course I'm not avoiding you Stormy, but I am tucked up in
bed at the hour you normally turn up at the tea-rooms - so it is nice to
see you in here at a more civilized time of day from the bunny's point
of view.

Hilary - LOL

snoball - 06 Sep 2004 12:52 - 12983 of 23498

Time fer lunch.

stockbunny - 06 Sep 2004 13:09 - 12984 of 23498

Hello Snowie - so what you do want fer lunch? LOL

amberjane - 06 Sep 2004 14:06 - 12985 of 23498

Thanks Hilary, have got his number but boards always quite on this one. Think I may tuck a few more away!

I thought today was gunna be a rare trading day for me as I had a nice cash injection into my pot today. BUT now I have the cash I have sat here for 5 hours and all the ones I picked last week somehow just dont seem.......Oh well.

hilary - 06 Sep 2004 14:20 - 12986 of 23498

Amber,

Thinking about it, you might also like to try speaking to John Anthony at KBR and Brian Moritz at GT.

I'm not really sure whether JA is still in the loop now that they've got their new PR firm (Parkgreen or someone sounding similar?) in, but he's probably worth a try nonetheless. Basically, there were a few problems when Trisk was at the helm and he upset a few people in the City because of his abrasive nature. JA was one of those who had his nose put out of joint by Trisk.

hilary - 06 Sep 2004 14:32 - 12987 of 23498

Amber,

Not sure how much you know, but here is a little bit of background reading.
