Is it just me, or is anyone else finding that MoneyAm is extremely slow in putting its pages up? I don't have any problem with other "similar purpose" sites.
Is there a problem, or is it a new policy to get people to join the paying elite?

Its no worst then Barclay's stockbrokers when the market volume is high you can't log in and the prices they quote are sometimes miles out of date.

kosyboy,
not yet I am afriad - he is still looking at it, and as we are nto able to reproduce it, that is why it is taking longer than normal.
He has asked me to ask you to go to the quote page and to hit refresh several times, could you then let me know if it is consistently slow loading or if it loads at a normal speed on any of the refreshes.
Thanks
Ian

Still slow on the quote / refresh page for me.
Just a matter of interest, did everyone who responded to you via e-mail have IE installed? My PC with FireFox has no problems, so may install Firefox on my laptop to overcome the problem.

Harry,
Thanks for the feedback, and no, people were using a mixture of browsers/operating systems.

Ah, so that's blown that theory out of the water!
May possibly be one of those Windows security updates I sent you then, as my laptop is regularly updated, but my PC hasn't been for quite a while.
Bizarre that it's just MoneyAM site!

Just a suggestion. Why don't you guys try pinging am's DNS to trace the route and see if there's any obvious delay along the way?

Good idea. There's no obvious problems showing for me using the tracert or ping commands in Windows, but the sites page loads are still very slow for me. Real time quotes which I get through Quotetracker (from MoneyAM) seem to be fine, as do other sites.

Hi everyone,
I'm just adding to Ian's posts here to confirm that we are looking into this performance issue that's being experiences by a small number of users. As part of an upgrade procedure, a number of new servers have been deployed since last Friday and the assumption is that the problem is somehow related to this deployment. However so far we are unable to replicate the issue or find any server mis-configurations or consistency amongst the environments which those that have the problems are working. We will continue to investigate the problem and I'm sure we will find a solution. Please bear with us on this.
Thanks
George

It's the ad to the right of the posting box which is doing it. Do you need a screenshot?
