A new non-java Trades page has been launched

George (ex MoneyAM) - 04 Mar 2014 15:46

Hi Everyone,

To complement the new html stockwatch, we've just released a new version of the Trades page which provides a non-Java version of streaming. In addition there is a tidier layout and some more information on the page than before. For people having problems with the new version, there is still the option to choose the Java Streaming version on that page.

Please provide feedback of bugs etc.

Thanks
George

Thank you George, very helpful.,.

Would it be at all possible to insert a small 1yr chart along side the epip? This would give a quick view of how a share had been doing in the past and give you an idea of where it might be going. Other than that, it works very well.,.

I like the VWAP. The only problem is if i dont get in below it ,it's going to ruin my evenings :)

cowshapedfish - 05 Mar 2014 08:04 - 16 of 98

It looks superb

Thanks

Any chance of adding VWAP as a column on the watchlist ? Would be very useful.

Mo06 - 05 Mar 2014 08:12 - 18 of 98

Another thing that would be very handy would be an ex dividend indicator......

Mo06 - 05 Mar 2014 08:14 - 19 of 98

The Trade Low value is not updating

Mo06 - 05 Mar 2014 08:18 - 20 of 98

Trade Hi value is not updating either - see STAN.

George (ex MoneyAM) - 05 Mar 2014 09:34 - 21 of 98

Mo06: There's no VWAP on the stream for stockwatch. It's available on the Level 2 stream.

I will look into the Trade Hi and Low values not updating. The figures at the top may not tally exactly with the table below because they are not updated live, rather polled every 15 seconds or so.

George (ex MoneyAM) - 05 Mar 2014 09:52 - 22 of 98

Mo06: By ex dividend indicator, do you mean a date, or a flag showing that today is an ex dividend date such as the N for news?

Mo06 - 05 Mar 2014 10:43 - 23 of 98

Just a flag showing Ex div today eg RIO & BLT.

Also the change value on the trades page for RIO is correct but wrong on the watchlist, which is odd...

Yes ......works great on my iMac.....!

Is L2 next...?

tomasz - 05 Mar 2014 11:18 - 25 of 98

looking good, thanks for VWAP, makes life easier.

Mo06: Regarding ex dividend change prices, our static pages (i.e. ones that use our database for prices) show change based on yesterday's close. However the streaming data uses what is provided in real time by our supplier. They base change on the adjusted close. If you look at Google Finance, I think they do the same. We don't use adjusted close in our database, so it's a bit confusing as to what is correct.

No way of looking at highest and earliest trades, as before.
Also, Java does not allow filtering time.

George (ex MoneyAM) - 05 Mar 2014 12:09 - 28 of 98

midknight: I can assure that no functionality has been removed. Only additions have been made. If you are unsure how to do something, please ask.
1) Filter by time (as before). Then click the column header of the one you want to sort by. All previous sortable options are there, just no longer in a drop down box.
2) Java has never allowed filtering by time. This functionality hasn't changed.

midknight - 05 Mar 2014 12:38 - 29 of 98

George, how do I find e.g. earlest trades or highest trades?
That is what I was alluding to. Thanks.

George (ex MoneyAM) - 05 Mar 2014 13:44 - 30 of 98

midknight:
1) Choose the Time Filtered option and select a time period to filter by and click GO.
2) For earliest trade, click on the Time column to sort it ascending.
3) For high quantity click Qty.

For the highest trades by price it doesn't look like you can do that right now. I don't think that was on the site before but we can add it.

Balerboy - 05 Mar 2014 13:59 - 31 of 98

Any reason why the times of trades seem to be all over the place? I was looking at HSD.

ExecLine - 05 Mar 2014 14:51 - 32 of 98

I notice that sometimes, some kind of an event happens and a whole block of the page goes black.
