I hold a few shares in Caldwell Investments looking for a recovery ..... textiles and Household goods inc Nina parosol products ..... not a trade - low cap of sub 2 million
03.02.03 announces that on 1st January 2003 Graham Haselden was appointed Finance Director.
anyway - a big cross just gone through @ the mid - 623K @ 11.5p

Yup rate the story coming out of Caldwell as top class. The company have signed up contracts for their state of the art sun canopys with companies from all over the world after the last trade fair. Jim Slateras in this one and lets face it hes no mug.
Might have more on this one this evening, will be hoping to hear from Evil K tonight.

this on still going with directors keep topping up remeber getting in @ 30p few years ago hasnt jim slater still got a stake ? also remember averaging down @ 6p and 8p now sitting on health profit given a bit more expose 30p not out of the question capable of making 1m profit would put it on p/e of 3 !!

Yes Jim Slater is still in and Evil was hinting that he was adding.
Somebody is building a stake . Watch out each day at around lunch time, a big buy as been going in for the last few days.

Certainly have sinutab, and heres the last lot of buying of 750,000 shares approx half of the placing. Reckon Evil K and J Slater got some of the rest.....

CALDWELL INVESTMENTS PLC
Caldwell Investments P.L.C. announces that it has successfully completed a
placing of 1,500,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each ('Shares') at a placing price
of 15 pence per Share, which compared with a middle market price of 15.5 pence
per Share at the close of business of 9th October 2003. The new Shares are
expected to be admitted to trading on 14th October 2003.
Certain of the Directors have taken up an aggregate of 750,000 Shares,
(representing 5 % of the existing issued share capital of the Company). Stanley
Wootliff, Chairman and Managing Director, who previously held 3,300.026 Ordinary
Shares (22% of the existing share capital) has taken up 650,000 Shares, and
following the Placing he holds 3,950,026 Shares (23.8% of the enlarged issued
share capital). Mr J Hanford has taken up 50,000 Shares and now holds 187,890
Shares (1,1%) and Mr J Posner has taken up 50,000 and now holds 100,000 Shares
(0.6%).
The Placing has raised 225,000 before expenses which will provide additional
working capital for the Company and in particular enable the Company to continue
the development and commercial trials of the Ninasun sun canopy.

can see this getting above 30p in next 6 months needs to get some new momentum somehow clearly got directors buying and in profit but needs volume and more exposure to get it to where it should be ?? mkt cap of 3M with forward profits could be 0.5M p/e of six ideal for tippers shares mag are you listening ??

I can't understand why it is a growth stock. the fundamentals look good as you have indicated and a patented product. why is it winner, I don't think everyone wants a canopy. plz enlighten me further if you can.

Soulretro, please check out the RNS new refering to the trade fairs held a few months back. Company have taken large orders from all corners of the world according to Evil K. They have also open a new factory to cope with the increased production.

I wouldnt go by looks apple, I was thinking that about 3DM Worlwides chunk of hard plastic a few weeks back when Evil K said he thought it was a 10 bagger, I thought the guys gone nutty. Wish Id bought in now.
Dont forget this Nina clip and canopy are revolutionary, the Scandinavians who are very health conscience are buying in the thousands. Its only the mad Brits who 'go out in the midday sun' mad dogs an Englishman etc.
Its a lot easier than putting up a parasol aswell.
