SOME GOOD NEWS
Derek Pain, one of Saturday's Independent's private investor diarists, features Wigmore (WGT.L), as he highlights the vulnerability of smallcap shares. He reviews recent events and noted that two slow trading quarters attracted the attention of its bank, despite having an encouraging order book and a terribly dilutive fundraising was undertaken. However, according to Mr Pain Wigmore should survive, but it has "lost the ebullient image that once made it such a promising player on the small-cap stage." The shares were unchanged from Friday's close and stood at 0.43p.
NB: The prices quoted above were taken on or around 11 am on Monday 21 June 2004.

Tell it like it is! that's what I always say...
I've got 50000 shares that I've held for nearly a year (bought at 2.69p) I've lost practically all the value. Wish I'd put a stop loss on this to minimise the loss. It's too late now so.. .will hang on for a recovery. Don't care how it comes about or how long it will take. :)

I have a large holding in Wigmore and will waite for recovery. Their is no reason why this company will not recover. They have a very high profile customers plus a 12 MILLION ORDER BOOK. Given time more contracts will be achieved. Look at their web site and their clients.

IS THIS GOOD NEWS OR BAD NEWS
RNS Number:3060A
Wigmore Group (The) PLC
30 June 2004
THE WIGMORE GROUP PLC
("Wigmore" or the "Company")
Publication of report and accounts
The Company announces that its annual report and accounts for the year ending
31December 2003 have been posted to shareholders.
The announcement of the preliminary results on 6 April 2004 referred to an
operating profit before amortisation of goodwill of #6,000 for the year ended 31
December 2003. The operating loss before amortisation of goodwill in the annual
report and accounts is #49,000. The adverse adjustment of #55,000 is due to
losses on certain problem contracts which commenced before and completed
subsequent to the year end and the information relating to the adjustment was
not available at the time of announcing the preliminary results. The auditors
have advised that in accordance with SSAP9 the losses on these contracts need to
be reflected in the financial statements for 2003 rather than 2004.
Copies of the report and accounts may be obtained free of charge from the
offices of Seymour Pierce Ltd, Bucklersbury House, 3 Queen Victoria Street,
London EC4N 8EL for a period of one month from the date of this announcement.

It is obvious that Wigmore is going to be a success.......they only need an RNS announcing a new contract and the share will rocket. I am not selling a single share. The CEO HEWIT has got the ability and know how to achieve this.
12million order book in hand already plus some very high profile customers has said it all. They ran into a difficult time and as usual the bank only want none risk borrowing so they pulled the plug like they have done on many other companies. The future is very bright for Wigmore and its companies. Check out their web site www.wigmoregroup.com

This is the reason as to why the share price didnt move up!!
LONDON (AFX) - Shares in Wigmore Group were among best-performing small-caps amid talk that an offshore investor is planning a 1 pence-a-share bid to take the property support firm private. Gossips reckon the company could interest Isle of Man property tycoon Jim Mellon.
Wigmore shares were 0.08 pence firmer at 0.45 by 7.56 am

Personally, the value of my shares is worth hardly anything now.

Yes, and look at the SP going down to .0035p & look at the 50m x .0022 sell. Looks as though the SP will go down to around the .0010 share placing level ?!
We're all doomed ! all doomed I tell ya ! (imho, dyor, pyo)
Apart from all that. everything's OK, I guess. .... keep smiling :)

oops ! there goes another 125m ! :)
Sorry geeboy.. can't say I know for sure what's happened ... shell shocked mate.
Hopefully, there's somebody out there who can give a more technical explaination.
Company could not trade properly, poor cashflow and contracts had dried up.
They had to be re-financed, hence more shares in circuation, share price diluted.
Yesterday, there was a small article in one of the papers saying that there was somebody intersted in bidding for the company at about 1p per share but more importantly might de-list WGT from Aim market and take the company into private ownership.. so we would be made an offer of say, about .05p per share and that would be it for us., bye bye Wigmore.I may be totally wrong.. I look to someone who is well versed with these types of goings on.
