I've heard,as we all have about the report commissioned by TFc, to the detriment of ITH, but the one shares mag recons that if the report is unfounded that TFc will "be swept aside" as itis will be able to provide information across the whole country, not just the 'A' roads and Motorways... i invite your comments

More good news for ITH. Ridiculously overpriced? I don't think so.
ITIS Holdings plc ('ITIS' or the 'Company') announces today that it has received
notification from its US partner, Delcan NET, that an agreed form contract has
been approved by the Missouri Highways and Transportation commission. This is
to supply ITIS' Cellular Floating Vehicle Data to the Missouri Department of
Transportation on 5,400 miles of roadways.
The contract, covering a two year period, renewable annually thereafter is for a
total of US$6.2 million (3.6 million) and will be shared between ITIS and
Delcan NET. ITIS does not expect to recognise any revenues from the contract in
the current financial year (ending 31 March 2006).

Kat - When do you think the TFC chart will start going in an upward direction, you have given this one a lot of support recently but again confidence seems to be mis-placed.

TFC will keep dropping until
1) directors buy shares
2) another standard fit contract is announced

Katcenka - If you're going to keep de-ramping ITH it would be good to back it up with facts otherwise your obvious short position will not bear fruit. This is a strong business, heading in the right direction. Put up or shut up!

Now that's what I call facts to back up an argument kat. Well done you. I can't live with that strength of in-depth analysis and reasoned thinking. Perhaps I should sell my holding as soon as the markets open tomorrow. My hero.

ITH been treading water recently around 60-65p but has broken down through that today, despite being a Shares Magazine tip for 2006. Anyone any ideas on when more contract news can be expected to bolster the sp again?

been watching this for some time, my guess is people are dumping this and moved back over to TFC.. the share price is on the move upwards, and its got a lot further to go, ITH has reached peek value and can only drop further now..
will be looking to get in this once its price is corrected around the 30p mark

I don't agree potatohead. On what basis has it reached peak value? It has outperformed TFC over the last 18 months which has been especially satisfying after TFC's research report trashed ITH's technology in favour of its own. It has secured a State contract in the US and there are 50 more of those potentially and car makers keep signing up.

Great set of results, a swing into profit and lots of cash - but still marked down 9% so far today by the market!
ITIS Holdings PLC swung to profit in the year to March 2006 and said the current year has started well. It added that it is confident it will maintain growth.
The road traffic information and data specialist reported a pretax profit of 1.99 mln stg, up from a loss of 1.35 mln a year earlier on turnover of 14.4 mln stg, up from 10.16 mln.
The group said its year end cash balance remains strong at 5.7 mln stg, compared with 3.41 mln a year earlier.
ITIS said its UK business continues to experience strong growth and is highly profitable.
Chief executive Stuart Marks added that through a combination of the group's largely fixed cost base and a growing number of customers, it is becoming substantially profitable.
Whilst the timing of new contracts is difficult to predict, the group remains encouraged about overseas expansion, particularly in the US, and believes that demand for its services will only increase as road traffic congestion worsens around the world, Marks said.

More good news for ITIS:
Intelematics Australia Pty Ltd ('Intelematics') and ITIS Holdings plc ('ITIS') are pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement for Intelematics to licence and deploy ITIS developed RDS TMC software for a nationwide RDS-TMC service in Australia.
Intelematics intend to launch the first commercial broadcast RDS-TMC service in
Australia from early 2007. This service will be received by a growing number of both in-car navigation devices and personal navigational devices (PND) to allow
dynamic routing to be used to avoid traffic congestion and hence minimise journey times. RDS-TMC is the chosen route for this new service as it is the most popular world-wide standard for broadcast traffic services and is already adopted by car manufacturer systems and the PND product manufacturers that are represented in the Australian market.
Intelematics is working with ITIS to integrate average vehicle speed data from road loops in metropolitan areas into the TMC application, and to merge that
information with journalistic data entered by traffic operators with more detailed knowledge of incidents affecting the road network. With both the 'cause' and 'effect' information that these sources provide Intelematics, utilising the ITIS application, will be able to provide a high quality traffic service to road users.
The agreement starts with immediate effect to deploy the trial system ahead of
commercial launch, and will continue until at least December 2011.
Adam Game, CEO of Intelematics said, 'We are delighted to be working with ITIS
as we are confident that their prominence and success in the RDS-TMC field will
help us achieve our goal of extending the reach of our traffic services to this
important group of customers.' Game added, 'For our customers, technical alignment of our RDS-TMC implementation with Europe's leading commercial RDS-TMC service will minimise risk and unnecessary localisation that would otherwise be involved in adding traffic to navigation systems in the Australian market'.
Stuart Marks, Chief Executive of ITIS Holdings said, 'As the leading provider of
commercial RDS-TMC services, we are delighted that Intelematics have chosen to
use our software and platform for their own service in Australia. This is the first time that we have licensed our proprietary TMC platform which currently supports over 250,000 drivers in the UK and is the largest commercial deployment of TMC anywhere in the world. '

A very confident sounding update:
ITIS Holdings said it expects full year profits to be ahead of expectations as it reported that all areas of its UK business have traded strongly in the first five months of the year. In an AGM statement Chairman Sir Trevor Chinn said UK growth has been led by consumer demand for factory fit and aftermarket satellite navigation systems. The company has won contracts since the start of the current financial year with Ford and BMW.
'We continue to provide traffic data to most of the leading manufacturers of personal navigation devices and our business with central and local government remains strong. We continue to add new services and functionality to our IVR business and have seen a steady rise in the core minutes per user,' he added.
Chinn said that the company remains confident of its ability to generate new business overseas but that it will do this at a pace that is right for the company. The company also announced that it is testing its CVFD technologoy with a large mobile phone operator to see how anonymous signalling data from the operator's network can help generate road traffic information in a 'large metropolitan area in Europe'.

More good news:
ITIS Holdings has agreed a new traffic data contract with personal navigation devices company TomTom, replacing a previous 18-month agreement.
The company said the new contract includes supply of traffic information to support RDS-TMC standard real-time traffic data which TomTom is launching soon.
Under the earlier contract, ITIS said its traffic data was offered to TomTom customers via a third party integrator.
