simonpaynton - 23 Jul 2004 14:09 - 13 of 106

That spreads a tad nasty though, guna keep the buyers away at that price dont you think...

legend290782 - 23 Jul 2004 17:54 - 14 of 106

It isn't the best spread I have to admit, but it proves the mm's are cautious about it.. at 18p to buy, I think that there is massive potential for shareholder growth. Look at Ranson's comment in the last RNS, he certainly thinks so.. I mean he bought 10% of company at 21.5p, as it stands he is losing a lot of money, so it is more than within his interest to put the company on the map. The man is worth 30m plus with a proven outstanding financial track record. He wouldn't surely put all this time and capital into a 3 legged horse would he??

Every trade this week has been a buy...

wraz - 23 Jul 2004 19:16 - 15 of 106

Yes it has, plenty of positive volume. I think we could be on to a real winner here.

legend290782 - 25 Jul 2004 11:49 - 16 of 106

I have only ever lost money on one share, I don't think this will be number 2!! I really think these can do well.

Did you buy many wraz?

P.S. Anyone wanting to discuss TES or have any questions please feel free!!

Kivver - 25 Jul 2004 12:31 - 17 of 106

Yes i have been looking at this, still cannot quite work out what they do? Setting up person to person betting? is there a market for this. Tried thier web site the other day and it wasn't working properly. Not sure about Ray Ranson either was that a good economic desicion to want to buy an ailing football club like the V**** (no swearing). Mind he wasn't a bad player when he played a few games for my team B'ham City. A bit tongue in cheek will be watching with interest.

legend290782 - 25 Jul 2004 16:40 - 18 of 106

They provide trading platforms for firms like Betonsports and if you have a look at their market value - approx 130m... massive market potential.

They provide the software for these types of firms.

As for Ranson, he put in a 30m bid for villa, and I think Ellis rejected the bid because he realised that the club was worth 100m plus so I suppose it wouldn't have been bad business.

If you have a look at the following link it explains about Ranson and his entrepeneurial success. See what you think

Kivver - 26 Jul 2004 08:43 - 19 of 106

Language legend!! thanks for that looks like they edted the link. Living in Brum there was obviously a lot in the local press about his buisness successes. I will be watching this one.

legend290782 - 26 Jul 2004 13:08 - 20 of 106

Very funny kivver. After my broker spoke to Joe Tighe (the ex chief executive) and him telling him he expects the company to be cashflow positive later on in the year, earlier if new contracts are won, I think the company has massive potential. With not many shares around, it has the potential to do very well. I estimate 5 times from where it is now.

Kivver - 27 Jul 2004 11:21 - 21 of 106

15.5 at the mo, your target 77.5p by when? That would be excellent. Hope your right!

legend290782 - 27 Jul 2004 13:34 - 22 of 106

Price moved mid morning without any trade, this is a good thing. MM's might be short or think there may be a story...

As for ASC, not too sure about buying them again to be honest. They could go to the moon, but I'm not going to risk it.

Have you bought any TES Kivver?

legend290782 - 27 Jul 2004 14:22 - 23 of 106

Up they go, plenty of buyers

zx6rx - 27 Jul 2004 17:44 - 24 of 106

Hi Legend, first post on this board but been reading for a while.Had a good look at TES and the website after reading your first thread,it's a slightly different take on the average online betting system but we all know that online gambling figures just seem to keep growing and I think you have a winner. Can't see any reason for the 25% hike today.Do you think this is just a spike or it is on it's way.Would be interested to hear your comments, you are definately the expert here.

legend290782 - 27 Jul 2004 19:07 - 25 of 106

Hi there. As I said earlier, I really think that from what the last chief executive said to me Joe Tighe.. that the company will be cashflow positive later on this year on the contracts it already has, let alone the new ones it gets, so I really think that the company going bust wasn't an option.. although it sounds daunting that a 'company is reviewing its funding finances'as it was said in the last RNS.

I think that when the price got to 30p, the company may well have promoted a bit of negativity to knock the price back down, if someone in the company for example wanted to buy a large amount of shares like now. This worked to a large extent and even pannicked out (what looks like an institutional holder) of 290k shares at 10p. This gave the mms some stock back and since then there have been very few sellers indeed and largely buyers. I now think mm's are short of stock again, hence the price rise to try and get some stock back.

Did you notice that the RNS came out after the price went up 5p, I think the company realised that people see the one way which this company is going, and would have found it hard to issue the shares at that price if the price was say 25p, so it brought out the announcement.

In terms of the fund raising,if i was a betting man (no pun intended on the company!!), it wouldn't surprise me if Ray Ranson was the guy wanting to buy shares at that price. If this is so, then he has already said that he thinks the company was significantly undervalued at 21.5p, so you can see why he would want a larger piece of the cake at 15p, and who wouldn't.

I know it may not seem crystal clear and there are a lot of assumptions, but it could explain a lot of things that have been going on. I think buying the stock now for the next 4-6 months could be a very good move.

wraz - 27 Jul 2004 19:41 - 26 of 106

I too have been following TES and it seems the panic sell (an institution????) of a couple of weeks ago appears to have been offset by speculative buyers. Does the market maker appear to have over-reacted? Looks like real buyers have come out to play! Hold tight the roller coaster's off and running....

Kivver - 28 Jul 2004 08:34 - 27 of 106

Legend im not in at the moment, nearly fully invested. I am torn between tes and kmr, both look to be going in the right direction.

wraz - 28 Jul 2004 09:14 - 30 of 106

There's more ...much more...to be had. Ranson's on to something.

Wraz

PS It was featured in today's Sun not yesterday's, sorry.

Kivver - 28 Jul 2004 09:16 - 31 of 106

i'm just setting the rope up in the attic now, i can see why you are called legend, well done! Is it to late? you did think 5 times 15p was possible. (joke about the attic by the way)

yorkshiret - 28 Jul 2004 10:21 - 32 of 106

There was also an article in the Guardian this morning:

"Among the smaller companies, Tradingsports Exchange Systems , the Aim-listed betting software company, stole the limelight. Its shares jumped 4p to 19.5p, prompting the cash-strapped company to reveal that it had received offers of funding from several parties, which are reckoned to include a number of cash shell specialists."

I bought in at 22p! Yay!
