is wigmore no more (WGT)

geeboy30 - 22 Jul 2004 09:07

is all hope gone with this company? there used to be quite a lot of posts about wigmore but it seems nobody cares anymore. has everybody got out or are you holding onto the bitter end like me

moneyplus - 29 Mar 2005 12:40 - 13 of 46

New shares converted from loan notes 100,520 000 start trading today so sp has dropped even further. Is this a falling knife or does anyone think it's worth picking up a few? The company seems to have its backers behind it.
Any comments or knowledge?

plm2349 - 26 Apr 2005 16:00 - 17 of 46

moneyplus
all the loan notes are beeing converted in shares,as a going concern the co is worth 2,5 pence a share!

skyhigh - 26 Apr 2005 16:09 - 18 of 46

plm2349 - 26 Apr 2005 16:11 - 19 of 46

from a peak of 3.5 in july 04 to 0.12 now let the market digest the extra shares, the shares are now worth 0.75 it will adjust but be patient

plm2349 - 26 Apr 2005 16:12 - 20 of 46

trading statement is due between now and early may

moneyplus - 26 Apr 2005 16:27 - 21 of 46

I think a takeover maybe coming soon as Burnbrae have built up a very large stake in this company will have to declare their hand soon?? Hope the trading statement is good--back from the brink!! picked up some MOI today looks promising, fingers crossed and thanks plm.

what is your opinion?

skyhigh - 07 Jun 2005 14:07 - 27 of 46

I don't really have one any more !
What A balls up this one has been!
hopefully it can only get better from here..
likely to see a consolidation.
If there's good news sp could rise after but if nothing positive then it will drift down further etc.,

plm2349 - 07 Jun 2005 16:29 - 28 of 46
