Far from Talarius (TLS)

ellio - 30 Jan 2006 09:34

Just thought I'd bring this to peoples attention, tipped at New Year as a major opp. for 2006. Actually has risen strongly already, but Golman sachs, 10% and another investment trust 4.7% have both raised their stakes recently.

If you look at the results net profit was 8m on 34m turnover back in Sept, however, there seems to be a lot of debt and other money flowing out, but realistically this company is actually earning between 30p-40p a share, maybe a I've got my maths wrong, however, if they pay down this debt the share may move very quickly and even after this rise, 300p+ seems more than possible, 500p long term?

Basically they are a slot machine company, but are adding more and more otlets and recent aquisitions have added straight to the bottom line

Talarius Plc ('Talarius' or 'the Company'), with over 7000 machines is now the
UK's largest High Street slot machine operator through its Quicksilver Adult
Gaming Centres (AGCs).

Following the successful listing in April, 2005, Talarius has completed the
following acquisitions and now operates from 164 AGCs:-

RAL Ltd on 1 June, 2005 with 127 units.
Leisure Promotions Ltd and In To Save Ltd on 7 July, 2005 with 13 units.
Blackheath Leisure Ltd on 7 November, 2005 with 24 units.

CURRENT TRADING

Like for like sales growth for the 24 week period to 31 December, 2005 was up
9%, compared with last year's 25 week second half trading period.

OUTLOOK

Based on the very satisfactory growth in revenues, profit before tax for 2005
will exceed current market expectations.

We intend to issue our preliminary results for the period ended 31 December,
2005 on Monday, 13 March, 2006.

In the meantime, due to the successful integration of the recent acquisitions,
your board continues to actively pursue further earnings enhancing acquisitions.

Fully expect these to run to 300p+ over next 3-6 months, thats 50% upside and solid base at around these levels.

Hi ellio
also have a few of these,
what makes you so confident of us reaching 3?

If you look at the results the underlying eps is actually 30-40p, 10x 30p =300p? plus growing soundly and generating lots of cash!!
