Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

85 level breached. Will it hold ???

Certainly has, at the moment. Still watching close above 92 or below 85 to confirm next trade. Held those boundaries well over last week.

Why? Only trading it on chart signals. Its what makes a market? Stated my intentions a few days ago.
Any stock that gets so many posts around BB's is bound to be volatile. You have to remember, if you invested in this in July you would be on a 30% profit in a few months, still. Then in the space of 2 months its up 1 from there. Too much too soon.
Nobody is saying its a bad Co. Just a bit ahead of itself.

Depends on where we close today. If it is below 80p. It looks like 70p is next level of supp/res on long term chart. There is decent volume below 80p at this moment. So the bearish scenario could play out. Hence the short. Have a stop in at breakeven now. With a covering limit order at 72p.
So need to see where we close today really.

Adie, takes 2 to make a market, bit unfair of you to say you hope anyone shorting it gets burnt,dont take it personal, its every man for himself, i know its painfull if your long, ive still got many scars from my crap trades, but its how the cookie crumbles,

Adie-Ruth is right,I don't short stocks because it frightens the crap out of me but I do look for opportunities to add to existing holdings :-)

Updated old chart... needs to regain 85 really to be bullish, adie. Frightens the crap out of me long or short, e-mail. But just a calculated trade, Risk reward and all that.

Appreciate all these nice postings about shorting but as you say can be painful if you panic and sell I am long and will continue to hold and top up where I can. The problem I have is that this company is in a much better position than when we touched 1.60 and look at the price... The listing on the nasdaq has not helped short term either. It's very fustrating and I wonder what the board of BPRG think. SEO on the rise and they lost the Court Case... "Glad I am holding both now"... "Dave it's not a personal rant at you - wish I had the access you seem to have to charts etc".

Been looking at bprg on the other side, its got into a really silly slanging match, shame really,much more productive to have a sensible debate,i had a silly slanging match with Tom H the other week, and at end of day it doesnt help anyone,glad to see this thread has remained virtually abuse free:-)

and away you go. Charts are just an opinion. 2 people could look at the same chart and come up with a different play on it. but if its your own work at least it makes you think.
These BB stocks are very frustrating, thats why I only play them at certain levels.
I am not shorting or longing them. I am just "Trading" them to make money. That is what this game is all about. You are not investing in this company for charity. You have the same agenda as me. Its just my timescales are alot shorter than yours.

LOL can't beat a bit of a slap up meal to calm the nerves! Theres no point falling out with people. We just need good information to make our own decisions.
