Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

It would be good if we could put both sides of the argument without the sniping after all this referendum is imo far more important than a GE. There are reasons to REMAIN just as there are reasons to LEAVE if we can put those reasons in a sensible manner it would prevent this BB from disintegrating into playschool antics.

The bookmakers still seem very sure, 1 to3 that we are staying in.
Surely with odds against us leaving all the out supporters should be putting their money where their mouth is.
or perhaps this is too easy for them

Stan - 26 Apr 2016 19:45 - 1314 of 12628

Already tried that George but your rabble are not interested in doing that.. as demonstrated this morning.

grannyboy - 26 Apr 2016 20:49 - 1315 of 12628

What was the odds of the Tory's winning outright at last years GE...
What were the odds of it been a draw at last nights Spurs-WBA match?..

I could go on..

Stan - 26 Apr 2016 20:57 - 1316 of 12628

Don't bother.

Haystack - 26 Apr 2016 21:03 - 1317 of 12628

The Tories were always going to win as they will do even easier next time and UKIP were always going to lose. Spurs is more difficult to call. I say that as a Spurs supporter.

Stan - 26 Apr 2016 21:06 - 1318 of 12628

Your a Spurs supporter? and when did you actually attend one of their games then?

Haystack - 26 Apr 2016 23:22 - 1319 of 12628

I went school in Tottenham. Our rugby pitches were the other side of the stand. I have been to lots of matches. I still live in north London.

Stan - 27 Apr 2016 05:48 - 1320 of 12628

So what, what was your last game?

grannyboy - 27 Apr 2016 07:43 - 1321 of 12628

"The Tories was always going to win"

That's not what the polls said or the betting at the time!..

As to UKIP always going to lose..You must have been one of those dopes who thought UKIP was going to have an outright win...

Me being the realist that i am accepted that UKIP would'nt win a majority and so not form the next government.....
