RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

Thanks OG - I withdraw my earlier remark that suggested that management might have been intentionally over-cautious in its statement re analysts' expectations.

Nice mark up and buying forst thing - lets hope it continues

overgrowth - 05 Jul 2004 08:19 - 1308 of 2406

Looks as though it will - 2M volume before 8:15 is looking very healthy. Point and figure charts triggered a strong buy at 18.25p also, I've just read elsewhere.

Fred1new - 05 Jul 2004 09:25 - 1311 of 2406

Wait for the selling at the end of the day.

I am holding for 25p, but can't see reasons for higher predictions

Tokyo - 05 Jul 2004 14:04 - 1312 of 2406

how much does this have left in it?

25 pence by the end of the week or huge selling as always to drive the price down again?

what is the general feeling here?

Douggie - 05 Jul 2004 14:54 - 1313 of 2406

I haven't a clue but on history fear profitaking, like you I suspect wonder if I should join in........am cetain if I sell in hope of rebuy later the price will continue up if I stay put it will go down not just pessimism historical fact!!!!!!!!!! ;o|

Back up to 28p perhaps!

Various small cap shares seem to be recovering so far this month & RTD is joining in.

"Today's Leaders and Laggards" (5th July): Shares in Retail Decisions gained 8.3% to 19.5p amid continuing talk that directors are considering a Nasdaq listing or buyout if the stocks rating remains low. Daniel Stewart, joint stockbroker, yesterday reiterated its 'buy' advice in the wake of the company's trading update, citing the shares' 45% discount to the sector.

Douggie I thought you must have gone on holiday again. (:~#

Tokyo

You ask "25p by the end of the week" - that is 30% growth in four days and unlikely to happen. 25p by September - possibly - 25p by this time next year - almost certainly imho. i would rather a gradual rise rather than the quick leaps as it is this volatility that brings in the short term traders which just causes further volatility and leads to the frustration we have had over the last few months.

A FEW SELLS STARTING TO CREEP IN TODAY

blakester - 06 Jul 2004 21:11 - 1320 of 2406

So, evens today, where tomorrow? Personally I think we held pretty well today...

Douggie - 07 Jul 2004 08:49 - 1321 of 2406

this is a big drop on thin but positive trading !! ;o{

overgrowth - 08 Jul 2004 20:06 - 1322 of 2406

Drifting away again on very low volumes today folks - how annoying it is to watch RTD on a daily basis. It appears that only a major revenue enhancing contract announcement will launch us out of this "traders channel" at the moment.

Or maybe that's what the people waiting in the wings want us to think, a few more sellers and that will bring RTD down to a very tasty level for them indeed. These clued up characters tend to wait until the dust settles after a sudden surge in price from tipping in RHPS (or equivalent).

Friday tomorrow, the traditional Friday rise should occur and be further fortified as soon as the investors mentioned above think that the bottom has been hit.

blakester - 08 Jul 2004 21:10 - 1323 of 2406

I think I'm a bit addicted to this share and fear I have no self control...

overgrowth - 09 Jul 2004 00:25 - 1324 of 2406

Very interesting post from jimibt on advfn:

"i guess we're saying (tho' not yet in the public domain) that RTD stand more than a GOOD chance of entering the TM100. in which case, there will be a steady accumulation over the next few weeks, taking us up to the 55M 'current boundary' equating to 24.5p per share. is this in your opinion likely to be on the minds of fund managers in the end of week meetings tomorrow??

whichever way, i think the current mid of 19.25p is a pretty stagerring opportunity for we PI's to pass up on but as ever, i'm sure we'll all lament the passing of the 20's in due course (and of course, in true PI style, with a hint of 'miff').

happy to continue my accumulation at these levels until my target of 40p in early october."

Douggie - 09 Jul 2004 10:14 - 1325 of 2406

mournin all.......... now back down to 18.25p and still loosin suport
