Braemore Resources Uses Cutting Edge Technology (BRR)

cynic - 14 Nov 2007 09:43 - 131 of 810

heaven forefend that you should await my reading of the entrails! ...... as i am such a lazy bastard, please can someone enlighten me as to the Philosopher's Stone that BRR seem to possess? ..... is it some patented procedure or merely a willingness and ability to work over old tailings and similar?

perhaps of interest to you all is that IG have this stock on Call, which implies that their clients are heavily into this and IG have thus reached their internal trading ceiling in same.

teddybear5 - 14 Nov 2007 09:46 - 132 of 810

apparently brr dont sign any deal with bhp till the end of the year then imo we should have a good idea where brr are going glad i got in at less than 20p they could be a good thing.

Toya - 14 Nov 2007 10:40 - 133 of 810

Thanks Cynic - the info re IG is interesting. And yes: apparently some patented procedure that can be readily applied to the pile of tailings - 'the miner that doesn't even need to mine'.

And as Teddybear5 rightly says, we'll have a better idea when (hopefully/almost certainly) a deal is sewn up with BLT.

I still can't see the flaw in this, which is worrying me - but maybe I should just sit back and watch the value of my shares go up, and find something useful to do in the meantime.

cynic - 14 Nov 2007 10:42 - 134 of 810

it's always a great worry when everything looks perfect cos you damn well it can't be ...... like i am sure my NRK shares can only be worth 50p or 100p at the very outside, yet they continue to hold at around 150

just spoke to IG ..... no obvious reason for BRR to be on call

unluckyboy - 14 Nov 2007 10:49 - 135 of 810

Just jumped onboard hope it's not to late.

cynic - 14 Nov 2007 10:53 - 136 of 810

so has greedy bastard here! ...... albeit with only 50% of norm, but that's more than enough

Toya - 14 Nov 2007 10:56 - 137 of 810

Exactly Cynic: that's why I say I'm "worried". Normally I can see where things could go wrong, and so often of course they do, but when you can't see the possible problems then it's hard to know what to look out for!

Unluckyboy: hope this leap of faith will enable you to change your name!

mitzy - 14 Nov 2007 11:04 - 138 of 810

Momentum to carry us to 25p even 30p by Friday..

unluckyboy - 14 Nov 2007 11:18 - 139 of 810

If these shares go up to 3 i will change my name to loadsamoney.

teddybear5 - 14 Nov 2007 11:36 - 140 of 810

ye and me good luck to all me think it could be a very merry xmas for all

kate bates - 14 Nov 2007 11:37 - 141 of 810

not sure why the excitement at the rise up until now, they were 15p and this has been 3-4 years in the making. 15p - 23p in 3 years, not the stuff dreams are made of. It's where it climbs to now is what dreams are made of..

edit: If this was listed on the TSX then you'd see a big move, sadly London isn't as bullish as many. The good news though for shareholders is they are looking at listing in Johanasbourg.

cynic - 14 Nov 2007 11:54 - 142 of 810

seem to remember everyone (inc me!) getting over-excited at the prospect of TMC going into orbit just a few months back ..... stock was effectively kicked into touch instead

kate bates - 14 Nov 2007 12:03 - 143 of 810

depends where you got on and off!!

cynic - 14 Nov 2007 12:04 - 144 of 810

idiot features here took his eye off the ball and "forgot" to get out of TMC when (well) ahead .... still holding as expect all will come right eventually, though serves me right if it does not

HARRYCAT - 14 Nov 2007 12:05 - 145 of 810

I think I must be a 'Glass half full' sort of person. Am holding this stock & happy to see a slow & steady rise, partcularly as the market as a whole is looking a bit dodgy.

fliper - 14 Nov 2007 13:24 - 147 of 810

A good last 8 days for these , maybe due for a fallback .

mitzy - 14 Nov 2007 13:48 - 148 of 810

I am adding today...grab as many as possible thats my philosophy.
You would have to be insane not to..

kate bates - 14 Nov 2007 15:22 - 149 of 810

agree, far too much going on behind the scenes with deals etc to be out of this one. Have added a few more at 24p.

Iankn73 - 14 Nov 2007 16:06 - 150 of 810

Just bought more of these as I couldn't resist. I hope I haven't been too hasty as I have just sold my small MYH & SFT holdings to further fund!!

Good luck all
