Right then, back to the point of this thread fellow Stanelco investors.
Our money is invested in a company with huge potential and forecast/potential profits of 50mpa from 2007 from just RF sealing technology alone which is backed by leading supermarkets/machine makers and food-packers alike.
Stay focussed on why you put your money in this and take advantage of any dips that come your way. Have a good week everyone.

andy
You stole my thunder.

jgeary - 14 Feb 2005 18:49 - 1315 of 27111

I am quoting from many on ADVFN. And before anyone decides to have another go - i hold both (although I have sold half SEO as a precautionary measure as i DO expect a short period of relative stagnation. If i wanted to simply deramp I would do a better job than above!

andysmith - 14 Feb 2005 19:51 - 1316 of 27111

Not a problem with your own reasons jgeary, and both SEO/BPRG probably a good strategy but we do get a little tired of the cc on this thread everytime some BPRG folk start stirring again from the latest sp hibernation. Real investors in SEO should know about the cc, but IMO the damages will be small beer and the potential for RF sealing units on meatpack lines is far greater. Good Luck & Please keep this bb focussed on SEO.

bosley - 14 Feb 2005 21:34 - 1317 of 27111

evening all. first , mr jgeary, the reason most of us here dont use advfn is because of the drivel. dont bring it here.
"jgeary - 14 Feb'05 - 16:39 - 1305 of 1315

Problem here is the impending damages hearing with BPRG. Could be a drag on the share price for a while. Also, many holders are now 'defecting' to BPRG which is gathering momentum as rumours of more deals circulate in addition to a chunk of SEO's cash"

could be a drag on the price!!!!!! if the last week was a drag on the price , then gimme more!!! the last two weeks have seen seo's price more than double. i think a little red is to be expected, as others have already said. we all know about the cc, those buying into seo and dont know havent dont their research. chill, stay calm, there is no point selling until the asda announcement.think about it.

Tristan - 14 Feb 2005 22:17 - 1318 of 27111

I hold both seo and bprg. but do not consider them rivals despite the cc. Stanelco has a fantastic product (among others), long term credentials look good and bprg seem to be on a wave (yet again). However, I am neither emotionally or sentimentally attached to either; they are merely instruments to increase my wealth. for the moment they are playing in harmony.

bos
Quite happy with to days drop it was predicted looking at the graph, better sooner than later the bigger the rise the bigger the drop I think it will trade side ways tomorrow then tick up more slowly after that I hope.

anakin69 - 14 Feb 2005 22:52 - 1320 of 27111

Good to see free speech is alive and well here!looks like anyone not towing part line is told to get lost. Why? I know of a couple of people who have sold SEO to buy into BPRG and others today. Are you guys that insecure you need to rough anybody up who states the obvious? For what it's worth my take is that SEo will be a good long-term investment but may suffer a bit short-term. If trading is your thing you'd be daft to ignore that.jgearys view sounds reasonable to me, it's what many others are saying on other BBs.

jgeary - 14 Feb 2005 22:55 - 1321 of 27111

Thanks Anakin! I'm going to say nothing more on this though - we'll just have to see how things pan out!

dexter01 - 15 Feb 2005 08:15 - 1322 of 27111

morning all,
found this on another bb, cash being dished out for re-cycling all over the place, it`s a really hot thing now and all supermarkets etc want to be seen as "green".

Environment Minister Elliot Morley has announced that four local authorities are to share a 2 million payout to help residents and local businesses cut waste and recycle more.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Bedford Borough Council, North Kesteven District Council and Rushcliffe Borough Council have all been approved extra funding from Defra's National Waste Minimisation and Recycling Fund.

The Fund invites applications from local authorities for money to kick start waste minimisation and recycling schemes. Since 2002, the fund has awarded over 225 million to 350 local authorities.

The four schemes announced today are alone expected to divert over 25,000 tonnes of waste away from landfill and boost local recycling and composting rates.

The projects will be implemented over the course of the next financial year and will help the local authorities move towards their 2005/06 recycling and composting targets.

Environment Minister, Elliot Morley said: "These awards demonstrate the Government's continuing commitment to improve our performance on managing waste. The funding of these schemes will contribute towards our highly challenging national target to recycle and compost a quarter of our household rubbish in 2005/06, but it can only work with the enthusiasm of residents; if residents embrace the scheme we can achieve results we can be proud of. I'm confident that residents will do just that.

The extra 2m has been made available to the authorities after they were deemed to be 'near misses' during the last funding round, announced last November.

Free speech definitely not banned and I like the idea of both as I have said on both bb's, both companies have good portfolio of products and should be successful. The wording was that people were defecting due to rumours of BPRG getting loads of dosh out of SEO, don't need this on here, its taken long enough to get people to believe in SEO without scaring them off. Personally I'm not too bothered if some take their profits, well done, or if sp has dips, I can get more. Long-term SEO are a fantastic investment and we just want to focus on that rather than BPRG folk occasionally antagonise.

shao - 15 Feb 2005 08:46 - 1324 of 27111

like i said yesterday price should stabilise around 16p today IMHO. everybody is waiting to see what everybody else is going to do. unless mm's make a big play then price should stay at this level today maybe tommorrow but will pick up by end of week i reckon. thurs/fri should see 18p.volumes down big time today. IMHO DYOR

dexter01 - 15 Feb 2005 08:52 - 1325 of 27111

anakin, free speech is alive and well , and everyone is entitled to it. i just dont see the point of digging up old news for no reason.

stockdog - 15 Feb 2005 09:06 - 1327 of 27111

Talking of off topic - I am amazed by the lack of tolerance from certain posters. That sort of bigotry I can get on the world politcial news any day of the week. The ultimate irony is that the most fascistic remarks come form those whose foul language and even worse jokes we have to suffer (here and on other bb's too).

Doing my own research I like to take in the views of the BB's, which includes any adverse opinions of stocks I hold. If this BB is just a rampers' convention, it loses all value for me. I might as well try to judge the mood of the country from inside N 10.

Goodbye to everyone who I've enjoyed listening to and occasionally talking to. I'm off to a more balanced view of the world.

cc, BPRG, bottom, jgeary - there, I've said them all.

bosley - 15 Feb 2005 09:17 - 1328 of 27111

lol@stockdog. like i said, free speech is for everyone, including myself and others who prefer to move on and not regurgitate old news. we know about the soon to be decided cc, we know about bprg,we know about the negatives.it has been said so many times ; until somehting is announced there is no point in speculating, or scaremongering, as to what the final settlement will be.
rampers convention? no. positive things are finally starting to happen and i would much rather focus my attention on the positive. i welcome reading alternative views, as long as they are backed up, not old news ,and honest.

shao - 15 Feb 2005 09:58 - 1329 of 27111

why has this thread turned sour? sort it out.

bosley - 15 Feb 2005 10:06 - 1330 of 27111

it hasn't, shao. back to business. red at the moment , volume quite low, in comparison to the last two weeks. placing is supposed to happen today. i think this is unsettling things a touch.
anyway, just watching the water babies, some wonderful brass band playing going on on the sound track as well as some bad fake northern accents.

Paulo2 - 15 Feb 2005 10:43 - 1331 of 27111

Anyone care to guestimate where it will bottom out?
