Socrates - 09 Sep 2004 17:37 - 13146 of 23498

All this talk of nether garments is quite off-putting. I'd better consume vast quantities of sherry trifle to take my mind off it.

Hi Jeff, what's all the problems with trains about?

little woman - 09 Sep 2004 17:49 - 13147 of 23498

Evening all, thought I would catch up while I could! Finally got through to
mortgage co, and they say they will look into it and write to me in due. I'll
give them until I get back from Oz (Yes - off tommorrow, I really excited :-)).........

jeffmack - 09 Sep 2004 18:35 - 13148 of 23498

Fundamentalist - 09 Sep 2004 19:14 - 13149 of 23498

DD

The M&S at Salford Keys is the factory outlet shop at the Lowry Centre. It is not a particularly big shop, the missus says you can hit lucky but its not great!!!!

Fundamentalist - 09 Sep 2004 19:21 - 13150 of 23498

DD

If you are going to go to the M&S let me know and we can meet up for a beer if you fancy it

Golddog - 09 Sep 2004 22:16 - 13155 of 23498

hi everyone.

amber, so your not keen on weddings then! me neither! If i ever get married it will be like....'oh by the way i got married yesterday', to everyone, or at the very most get married on a beach somewhere, no hassle, no people, no expense.

littlewoman, have a nice time.

Brocky, just to let you know i have got rid of both! and now i feel freeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :-)

optomistic - 09 Sep 2004 22:35 - 13156 of 23498

Evening all
Nice to be back, one thing I have missed is the free flowing Guiness gotta catch up, start with two pints, the first won't last long.
Poochy, get married like that, you will be kinda lucky there!! lots of us may have had that idea but somehow we seem to be persuaded 'just a little'

Kayak - 09 Sep 2004 22:45 - 13157 of 23498

Golddog, don't forget that family may take it very badly indeed... The father of a friend went ballistic when she outlined her plans to get married in the Caribbean, just the two of them, and hasn't spoken to her since (that was months ago). Probably an extreme case but there is a message there! Every parent (don't know if yours are still around) wants to see their kid walk down the aisle, and bask in reflected glory.

snoball - 10 Sep 2004 09:10 - 13158 of 23498

Morning all.
Kettle's on.

brockman - 10 Sep 2004 09:16 - 13159 of 23498

Think you done the right thing Poochy!

Kayak, At least there will be heaps of cash around for the knees up when the divorce is finalized ;o)

Make mine a black coffee snoball, ta

amberjane - 10 Sep 2004 09:35 - 13160 of 23498

Like the beach proposal Goldie, and yes if ever, that would be for me.

I dont know why people have this urge to be religious for one day and make promises that they (probably!) wont keep. Sorry but I know loads of divorcees and loads of unfaithfuls!!!!!!!

Think I'd be shot down in flames if I continue so......better have breakfast earlier today, any crunchy nuts left....

brockman - 10 Sep 2004 09:44 - 13161 of 23498

Your in safe company Amber, nothing last forever, not even flat-pack furniture ;o)

amberjane - 10 Sep 2004 09:44 - 13162 of 23498

Stockbunny, did you get my 2 mails yesterday, sent by return not through board?

amberjane - 10 Sep 2004 09:46 - 13163 of 23498

Brocks :>}

stockbunny - 10 Sep 2004 09:46 - 13164 of 23498

Amberjane - plenty of crunchy nuts around here of varying ages LOL

Poochie you go with whats right to you and your lady when the time comes,
but yes you may find there is pressure from elsewhere, just part of the deal.

Opto nice to see you back!!!! I've been tending VOD for you.

Morning Brockie and Snowie!!!!
OK a danish and orange juice for me..
