amberjane - 10 Sep 2004 10:35 - 13181 of 23498

Actually that reminds me brocks did get offered an interview with Al Fayed, (lived round the corner-funny area I'm in) Now theres a strange one! Didnt go but his last 2 PAs sued him for sexual harrassment, could have helped the trading pot!! LOL

brockman - 10 Sep 2004 10:36 - 13182 of 23498

Yes tame Opto, must have gone to the wrong party, loads of fat women wiggling around in naughty nighties and undies that were far too small, giggling! HHmmmm husbands and boyfriends in for a real treat ;o)

brockman - 10 Sep 2004 10:38 - 13183 of 23498

Really Amber? Wow, strange world but he looks the letchy type ;o)

Kayak - 10 Sep 2004 10:38 - 13184 of 23498

I can't imagine anything would shock Brocks. Woman of the world, she is :-)

Saw Al Fayed in Harrods once. He was walking through the store followed by a dozen bagpipers in full costume. They were twice as tall as he and so initially we didn't see him. Very surreal.

brockman - 10 Sep 2004 10:41 - 13185 of 23498

Them fat wibbly women shocked me Kayak! ;o) Put you right off I can tell you! Mind you so does Al Fayed ;o)

stockbunny - 10 Sep 2004 10:41 - 13186 of 23498

Thanks for warning me Brocks about the bobby-traps, possibly could
be termed differently but it's too early (lol) but it was too late
just got tangled up in half a dozen purple ones on the way down the stairs
you wait until I see Dave!!!

Waiting for delivery of new soft furnishings for the burrow - typical
situation no time given, wait around all day etc!

brockman - 10 Sep 2004 10:44 - 13187 of 23498

Can't you do something with the suspenders for soft furnishing Bun, your artistic? ;o) Lovely colours!

hilary - 10 Sep 2004 10:45 - 13188 of 23498

Amber,

I recall about 30 years ago, one of the Gold brothers (not sure if it was Jackie's dad or uncle) drove into my father's car. It was his fault but the damage to my father's car amounted to nothing more than a little scratch on the bumper which my father wasn't worried about as it was a firms car anyway. My father went round to the back of the car and was about to say that it wasn't worth worrying about, when the Gold brother pulled out a massive wad of notes and gave my father 150. That was a lot of money in those days.

stockbunny - 10 Sep 2004 10:50 - 13189 of 23498

No..can't think of a way to work suspenders into the whole bean bag
affect - oh yes we live well down here in the burrow! LOL

amberjane - 10 Sep 2004 10:51 - 13190 of 23498

Blimey Hils, sounds a good deal to me, lucky dad. better find out where he drives round now, maybe I could get a quick touch. No on the car of course, didnt know how else to word it! Mind you if it was 30 years ago ...

optomistic - 10 Sep 2004 10:52 - 13191 of 23498

hilary - 10 Sep 2004 11:00 - 13197 of 23498

Actually thinking about it, I'm not so sure that it is convertible. It's one of those new sports ones. Not sure whether they go topless or not.

amberjane - 10 Sep 2004 11:00 - 13198 of 23498
