Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Drifting away again on very low volumes today folks - how annoying it is to watch RTD on a daily basis. It appears that only a major revenue enhancing contract announcement will launch us out of this "traders channel" at the moment.

Or maybe that's what the people waiting in the wings want us to think, a few more sellers and that will bring RTD down to a very tasty level for them indeed. These clued up characters tend to wait until the dust settles after a sudden surge in price from tipping in RHPS (or equivalent).

Friday tomorrow, the traditional Friday rise should occur and be further fortified as soon as the investors mentioned above think that the bottom has been hit.

I think I'm a bit addicted to this share and fear I have no self control...

Blakester - Could be true, plenty of good news and still the price keeps wasting away.

The problem is, I've seen this happen before and you can bet your bottom dollar that as soon as you get hacked off with it all and sell, unexpected news appears (very often on the same or next day), the price is suddenly past 30p and you're left staring in disbelief.

and that is exactly what keeps us here hanging on with our tongue hanging out...fodder for the better informed to take advantage of us, guess the smart ones are in and out here taking 5% or more a time getting a good return on the same cash, while I sit on my hands darn't make a mouve, in the meantime I'll settle fo 30p next week please

This company needs to be taken private and quickly. A management buy out is exactly whats needed (at least for me to get my money back)as the heady days of decent returns are not going to be found during all this sideways trading of the main indices.

There's no MM manipulation here, only lacklustre interest...

My feelings about Management Buyouts is that they are generally below the real value of the company and that management is doing itself a favour not the shareholder who may have been funding the R+D of the company for a long time. The shareholders who bought in later at low prices may profit, but many longterm holders are cheated.

the last thing i want is a management buyout - they would take this private at about 25p, when in a few years time this will be worth substantially more than that imho. If id wanted 25p i could have had that earlier in the year!!!

Comments from wombled on iii, to remind us that we really should still be quite bullish about RTD, despite the silly season market malaise setting in.

"I expect these shares to start moving from Aug onwards. As it stands RTD will enter tech100 index, first time since feb 01. This will initiate tracker fund purchases.

Secondly, interims out on 6th sept, RTD always has a good run leading up to results. Increased by over 30% during the lead up to interims in 2003."

I blamed Douggie for not going on holiday for the down movement in this share.
