Haven't seen buying like this for a while!

next week should be interesting.

bhunt1910 - 02 Dec 2005 16:52 - 13240 of 27111

Oblo - forgive my ignorance - but I though when you saw a buy and sell like that then it is usually a rollover ??

oblomov - 02 Dec 2005 17:07 - 13241 of 27111

It was two sells, wasn't it Baza?

blinger - 02 Dec 2005 17:40 - 13242 of 27111

It was "patently a rollover, but I doubt if a sleepy Russian knows what that is.
MAM`s computer guesses at the price being a buy or a sell, often rollovers are shown as two buys, depends how close the prices are to the relative `touch`price
.The dealer only takes about 40 for a rollover so the price diff. is miniscule and often is rounded up or down by the computer anyway.

bhunt1910 - 02 Dec 2005 17:43 - 13243 of 27111

I know that it looks like 2 sells - but someone told me that a rollover is a sell and a discounted buy and you can usually recognise them by the fact that they are the same number of shares at approx. the same time - but with v. small differential in the price. So someone has just rolled his share over in the hope that it will rise to say 30p and he will make at least 16p profit (minus dealing costs etal ????))

But that was why I was asking

bosley - 02 Dec 2005 18:01 - 13244 of 27111

nice to see blue for a change but i don't know why everyone's got excited. sp has only gone back to what it was at the start of the week. if they follow this up with some really good news, news with numbers and s, then i'll get excited.

oblomov - 02 Dec 2005 18:56 - 13245 of 27111

Thanks Baza, I bow to your superior knowledge, though it rather spoils my (already weak) joke!

Blinger, go boil your head, you stupid backside!

hewittalan6 - 02 Dec 2005 19:12 - 13246 of 27111

Think I'll spend the day away more often. The sp rises and I have a bit of amusement catching up on the thread. Pity I can see only one side of the argument.
Never mind I can probably guess the other.

ROTFLMKJSYGEWNFIOVNDKJHDKSNWOIFN

Or whatever it is he ends on...........
Alan

PS thanx for the caretaking job, Baza. Top banana

blinger - 02 Dec 2005 19:47 - 13247 of 27111

never mind Pink Oboemov,
one day you will grasp investment, try again A.D. 2015,

Insults to cover up lack of knowledge are very common, your embarassment is obvious, and exquisite.

love the profound ending " top banana2! too

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 19:50 - 13248 of 27111

I have never done this before, but looking at the trading today I feel it's worth reposting one of my posts from last night, as it could be that PM1 saved the day by finding a big investor or two at just the right time, before the SP fell to 10p

Are the shorters now running away with the small profit they made ?

Erik the Red

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 08:33 - 13213 of 13246

PM1 said last night there is a big buyer or two accumulating stock, maybe a lot of the 100k and 250k and bigger trades over the last few days are theirs ?

This is what he sent out the other day, and he also said last night that he had emailed the two groups suggesting they look at investing in SEO, one has $800m in cash plus $126Bn in stock

"There are a lot of creative types looking for the next big thing," said Robert Sheppard, deputy director for corporate programs at Clean Air-Cool Planet, a nonprofit environmental education organization. "Well, these days, environment is it."

It is impossible to quantify the environmental industry. Many of the newer companies are privately held. And many "green" products more efficient power generators or bio- degradable plastics are parts of other industries. But investors are clearly funneling more money into green technologies. Last year the California Public Employees Retirement System said it would invest $ 200 million in what it called the "burgeoning environmental technology sector." This year, 27 members of the Investor Network on Climate Risk promised to invest $ 1 billion in companies with green products. "The environmental industry is about to take off as more investors realize that they can reap returns from cleaner technologies," said Dan Bakal, director of electric power programs at Ceres, a coalition of investors and environmental organizations that runs the investor network.

The price went up because it was underpinned by a tip sheet urging naive people to buy, they did.
However the cash which flowed -net- was probably , lets say 200k, this will be ruthlessly removed at the expense of muppet punters very soon, its an old scene repeated ad-nauseum with penny shares, a huge yawn.

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 20:00 - 13250 of 27111

I thought blinger had posted something, must be my imagination.

Erik the Red

blinger - 02 Dec 2005 20:11 - 13251 of 27111

A very vivid one too it seems.

Institutions buy for their customers , on average 6 months before a price rise, show me the institutional buying, show me a buy recommendation promulgated by a respected City Bank/ broker for this share, and not a cheap penny share sheet, and I may well agree that it has potentional .
Until then its a traders dream.

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 20:36 - 13252 of 27111

Thought I saw him post again, nope I am definately imagining it.

Erik the Red

MM's are mopping up shares from anyone who wants to sell - so they are expecting the sp to go higher by the looks.

Baza
------------------
Oh dear total confusion as ever, this is a SET`s/mm share dearie, mm`s have no control -the market is King, get some advice from the sleeping `tovarishch`, he is
unbelievable-honest.

blinger - 02 Dec 2005 20:51 - 13255 of 27111

The after hours trade of 433487-SELL is the key to Monday @13p, after the SET`s auction- ask Oblimov about the auction, he knows a lot about trading and investment

lolol!!!!!!

bosley - 02 Dec 2005 20:52 - 13256 of 27111

red erik,

"as it could be that PM1 saved the day by finding a big investor or two at just the right time, before the SP fell to 10p "
