At this time of year I am often woken while wicketkeeping for my local cricket team by the umpire shouting BUY. Could these be connected??

Mr Mole - 03 Jun 2005 08:59 - 1338 of 3776

I'm hoping this is a severe tree shake pending good news. YOO's my second largest holding.

016622 - 03 Jun 2005 09:02 - 1339 of 3776

sorry mr m but that does make me feel slightly better :-))

hewittalan6 - 03 Jun 2005 09:04 - 1340 of 3776

I'm hoping I am still in bed and this is just a bad dream!! A small cap company that doesn't issue regular updates does seem to do this, but if it carries on the best news in the world will only take it back to last weeks levels.
On the plus side, any canny businessman would say that you don't issue any news you don't absolutely have to for fear of weakening a negotiation stance or alerting competitiors. God, I am desperate to find a positive in this!!!

Does the market know something we don't?? This is one of my biggest holdings too--I'm gritting my teeth and waiting for some results or a trading update!! haven't got the bottle to continue adding--surely there's light at the end of the tunnel!!

mactavish - 03 Jun 2005 12:17 - 1342 of 3776

Thank you for your e-mail.

As you may be aware, AIM as a whole is performing poorly at the moment, with a number of potential flotations being halted due to lack of appetite. This understandably flows through to existing stocks, not least where certain investors will liquidate positions to invest elsewhere.

YooMedia's share price has been subject to this general market sentiment and as you can see, thin volumes yesterday and today have produced a fall of 1.5p at the moment. We are working on the basics of improving profitability and growing the company which hopefully will be reflected in our half year numbers. IN the mean time, as and when we have meaningful news flow, we will RNS them.

Best regards

Jonathan

you are havoing a laugh. no way that is from the company!
